In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] initial chat with visitorHi @gopalji ,
Thanks for your nice words!
This feature can be found under Settings -> General Settings -> Enable Manual Chat Initiation.
However note that it is only available when using the “3CX High Performance Cloud Servers” mode. (Settings -> Advanced Features)

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Embed the customer chat windowHi again!
Yes that is the option.
If you add it and the page it is embedded on breaks, then it seems that there could be a compatibility issue/conflict with your theme.
Would it be possible to provide a link to a page which has the chat embedded?

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Embed the customer chat windowHi @deanfourie,
Are you using WordPress block or classic editor?
Hi @zest0adam ,
Sounds like there is javascript conflict.
If you have a copy/sandbox of your site you may test by disabling all other plugins and start enabling them one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict. If the problem persists after your disable all plugins then it could be something related to your theme.
By the way just to confirm, you have the option “Chat box for logged in users only” enabled, correct? (It’s under “Chat Box” settings)

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Start Chat button not workingHi @rashedbrur ,
If Twenty nineteen works then it confirms that the issue is with your theme. Unfortunately we cannot advice on what needs to change in your code as this falls outside the scope of our role and also we cannot guarantee that any advice given will not break something else as we can’t know how each dependency is used in your theme.
What I can tell you is that it is related to jQuery.
I hope this helps!
Hi @insurevents ,
I have setup a testing environment with those settings but I can’t seem to replicate. The transcription email includes the whole conversation.
1. Can you check in the chat history if only your messages are shown?
2. Does this happen in all chats? (if you are going to test don’t initiate a chat in the front-end while being logged in the back-end. Use an incognito window for the front-end or another browser).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Start Chat button not workingHi @rashedbrur ,
Have you tried switching to another theme just to test? As suggested in the previous post, it is very likely that jQuery loaded by the theme (or a plugin) is causing issues with the chat functionality.

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Custom colours don’t seem to workHi @steeven abd @laurag923 ,
Indeed it seems that there is a minor issue which prevents custom palette colours from showing! This will be fixed in the next release!
Thanks for reporting

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & Messaging] Profile avatar not shownHi @steeven ,
Our plugin integrates with the default WordPress avatar system which is Gravatar. If you create an account on Gravatar with the same email as your WordPress account and upload an image it will show in the chat!
If you are using any third party plugin that allows users to upload avatars directly in WordPress, it will unfortunately not work!
We might consider supporting custom avatars in a future release!
Hi @blerdyotaku ,
Yes, unfortunately your question is not related to our plugin!
Will mark this as “Resolved”.
