Hi Will,
I’ll pass this along to have it looked at.

Hi,
There could be a database issue with the site that is not performing as you’d expect. Try removing Wordfence and table data and doing a clean reinstall of Wordfence. Finally, import the settings again and see if the problem still persists.

Hi,
Just got some info and currently we do not scan plugins for XSS vulnerabilities and do not fix the code of other vendors plugins. I’d recommend only using plugins from reputable sources. You can always check with the plugin maker and see how they handle security and vulnerabilities.
Hope that clarifies things. Thanks for the question!
-BrianHi,
Are you still seeing this issue? We’ve seen this with Google Analytics where the bots are loading the tracking link directly and never actually going to the site. It shows up in Google Analytics but since there is no real visit to the site it doesn’t show up in Wordfence.

Hi,
I’m checking to get you a good answer. Hold tight.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Are you still seeing issues? I haven’t seen any reports of issues with our servers.

Yes, you can delete everything manually in the wfcache folder using FTP. Try that, then disable cache, and reenable cache. See if that helps.

BrianHi,
If your site is based on WordPress, then you are going to be subjected to attacks all the time. I’d recommend installing Wordfence and giving it a test run for a week. You’ll be amazed at who/what tries to login to your site.

BrianHi,
You do not lose any protection by disabling Live Traffic. You do lose the real time reporting, but you also will see a performance gain. Also, if you enable Falcon Cache, Live Traffic is disabled.

Hi Nex,
So the errors just started. Did you enable Live Traffic or was it already enabled? Are you running the latest version of Wordfence (6.0.22)?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Are you using the latest version of Wordfence? We’ve recently updated how Googlebot’s are identified. Make sure you are running the latest version which is 6.0.22 (the improvements were in 6.0.21).
Here’s documentation on the different Googlebot settings in Wordfence.

BrianIt’s probably worth trying removing Wordfence and all table data and doing a clean reinstall at this point. See if the issue remains after.
