To remove a highlight just hover over the highlight, while you’re logged into SumoMe and you can delete the highlight π

If you do not set it to hidden then yes, others who visit your website can see the tiny blue sliver that turns into the badge when you mouse over it.

Twitter made the decision to remove the ability to see the Twitter share count for your content. You can see more information here:

When this change finally came through on November 20, it affected any service which relied on pulling the share count directly from Twitter, SumoMe included. This is why you are seeing 0 Twitter shares in SumoMe’s Share app. It’s unfortunate that Twitter share counts can no longer be tracked, but since Twitter removed the ability to look them up the numbers are no longer available for us to provide to you.
