Sumo relies on your Open Graph tags to determine what is shared and what your share numbers are. If you don’t have Open Graph tags setup, it will use your actual page URL/Title.
For Twitter we support the following Twitter card tags in lieu of Open Graph tags:
twitter:title
twitter:image
twitter:creator
twitter:site

Please make sure you read up on Open Graph tags and make sure you use the Facebook Debugger if your Facebook share information is not up to date.

The status of the “Connect” button for Sumo in WP Admin is based on your WordPress “admin mode” session. If your session ends for any reason, including clearing your cookies, switching devices, or a session timeout, your connection to Sumo in WP Admin will end as well. When this happens you can simply reconnect.
Don’t worry, though, disconnecting only affects your WP Admin back end. Sumo is still up and running on your front end so your visitors are seeing all of the apps you’ve set up.

Yes so Sumo Share actually shares the URL of your page to the services via Open Graph. So the full article is not shared to the services, but the direct URL to that page/article is shared instead!

To address your browser concerns, the Sumo popup and forms are designed to work on multiple browsers and platforms. Your users are not required to be on the very latest version, but it is possible they may experience display issues if they are using a very outdated OS or browser version.
From the behavior you were describing on your site, it actually sounds like there may have been some code conflict or non-standard CSS on your site as opposed to a browser or hardware incompatibility. Have you reached out to our support team for help? We are always glad to address any issues you are having.
For the Buy button, Sumo is more of a product for people who are trying to capture emails rather than add shop functionality on their site. If you are trying to add an ecommerce checkout/cart on your sire, we definitely canโt help you out there and would recommend you look at more appropriate options for those functions. However, if you already have an ecommerce site and want to supercharge your lead capture and recurring salesโฆ we can definitely help ๐

You are able to click the far left “Continue with Free” option on that pricing popup to continue to your Sumo dashboard ๐
If you are still having any issue with that, our support team will be more than happy to take a closer look at that pricing popup on your site for you and ensure that you can close it!
