Its a shame theres no way to edit comments, it must be possible through cookies surely?Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Why using Kubrick on 1.3 is a mistakeagain though, its only a highly (relatively) hacked wordpress as its not the standard install – were it the standard install it would be just that.

In reply to: Why using Kubrick on 1.3 is a mistakepodz – Ive read them all, and as we dont yet know what the final 1.3 will be like theyre largely irrelevant, as is roots last comment.
specifically, the default Kubrick doesnt use any plugins so regardless of the final result of 1.3 that is also irreleventForum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: Why using Kubrick on 1.3 is a mistakeFrom the new user perspective how can there be any difference between the current (awful) default WP layout and a new (possibly elements of) Kubrick layout.
If its the default, its the default it matters not what the previous version is – “if my uncle was a woman hed be my aunt”
feels like people just dont like change regardless of whether its good or not.Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: Why using Kubrick on 1.3 is a mistakeI think *elements* of Kubrick will be great.
I can see why people would be concerned about noobs tring to understand the code, but then theres probably 2 types of noob, those that dont know enough php/html/css to alter it and unlikely they will, and those that will have a tinker and will in time learn alot.
Id rather both of those started with something similar to Kubrick as its clean lines and high legibility make it the best for those thatll never change it and those that will change it will learn some neat css/php techniques from kubrick – probably inspiring more customisations that stifling.
Im sure whatever though, those in the relevant places will do a good job – or you can customise it to your hearts content 🙂Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Mingus?? What the?well, when i first saw “Mingus?? What the?” I assumed it was about minger

In reply to: Mingus?? What the?well, you can use ‘minger’ in your everyday conversations if you like and think of me as you do 😉
its pronounced Ming (as in the merciless) – Err (as in err – err). So to recap, its Ming-Err – minger
“Look at that minger”
“Shes a bit of a minger”
It can also be chanted “Ming-er! Ming-er! Ming-er!”
there you go my Yankee cousins.
