In reply to: Head Image for Kubriktheres a photoshop file with the kubrick download (as anonymous pointed out) and you replace the header in that with your chosen image, indeed you can also change background colours and stuff. Then export for web from within photoshop, which will save all the appropriate files and then upload those to your server, replacing the original kubrick images.
you could try here – http://flickr.com/groups/binarybonsai/ – for fellow kubrick users.hesed: for the mac i use nowplaying – http://www.big.or.jp/~crane/soft/nowPlaying/ – uploads a lovely PNG

In reply to: Installing kubrick with wordpress in site root?macmax: you dont have to forward to the subdirectory if you have WP installed in one.
Mine is within somefoolwitha.com/wp but my somefoolwitha.com works anyway. i just have the index file outside of my /wp in the root and changed that line as a bove to require(‘./wp/wp-blog-header.php’);
just so long as any manual urls you have in there allow of the extra directory (wp, wordpress, whatever) and you set it up properly in admin, IE put in the 2 different urls then its fine.
instructions are here

In reply to: Installing kubrick with wordpress in site root?Im guessing you may have put the files in the wrong place.
They go in the wordpress directory (in your case the root), it sounds like youve made a wordpress directory and put them in there.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Emails not showing in BlogThis fixes some problems with the default wp-mail.php.
I found a few problems with it authenticating the sent from email address so I had to customise it, apart from that though, it seems to work better.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Kubrick graphics ported to FireworksIve seen a few pretty good variations on Kubrick, its no more restricting creatively than the default WP style (if the default style and the word creative can ever go together) its just that because its already so good, those without much experience in CSS/PHP are less inclined to alter it, whereas those with experience will find a great basis to start from – which imo is a good thing.
