its far better than the current set up
the upload tab should stay iin the admin section, but the write post (both regular, advanced and the popup window) should have upload image feature.
otherwise you have to do the quick post popup window, then go to your site, then login, then go to the upload tab, then upload the image and finally copy + paste the code to the new post.Forum: Fixing WordPress

The other problem I have with the post by email is with email from my phone, which ends up with lots of extraneous characters in the title.
Does anyone know how, of if theres a plugin/hack to post images with emails in emailed posts – does that make sense? I hope so.Forum: Fixing WordPress

Im in the UK and my servers in the US so I have to wait a few hours before they synchronise and the post becomes live.
the only issue ive had with upgrading to the nightly build (apart from overwriting files i dont really want to – ie my css file – i wish it was easier to upgrade) the recentcomments and recent post plugins that i use from http://mtdewvirus.com/ need to have some code change ala http://wordpress.org/development/archives/2004/05/28/the-road-ahead/ and http://wiki.wordpress.org/1.3/TableVariablesForum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Blog by emaili get that, if you go into wp admin and edit, youll see the post there but you have to edit+save it for it to appear in the actual blog.

In reply to: Blogging by email – another way?I found the current email blog plugin didnt seem to work properly, it added the post to the database fine, but for some odd reason I had to log in to my wordpress admin area and edit the post before it actually showed up on my site.

yes i know theres an rss inporter but it just errors for me.
Id like to try importing my thistle blog, but id like it to also keep post dates (in a meta file) and i have quite a few posts to import.
thistle, similarly to all those other blosxom based blogs is simple directory/text file format.
btw, im experimenting with wordpress at http://www.somefoolwitha.com/wp – will i be easy enough to remove that /wp if i go live?
