The shortcode hasn’t been changed,
[sola_nl_sign_up]is still being used.With regards to the confirmation email, what isn’t working? Are you not receiving one? Or when clicking on the link does it take you to a 404 page?

Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t allow you to hook into the autoresponders at this point in time to create your own, we will be exploring this route in the near future though.
The custom HTML newsletter allows you to create standard campaigns, but enter your own HTML in for your newsletters.

Please login to your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Permalinks’ and press the ‘Save’ button. Does this perhaps help?
