Hi there,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread. Thanks!
Hi @pawdl,
Thanks for clarifying with me. So here is one way around adding boxes for each of your products. When you go to create the label and get to the Packages section select the Move button.

Hi @erichboileau,
Thanks for the clarification, I tried looking through the changelog but didn’t necessarily see a specific version where the requirement was added.
The best I could see was this update back at version 1.0.0, but it was only related to a notification. I’m not sure what, if any version, you can roll back to to solve the current issue.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Unable to Setup PluginHi @mvdelrosario,
I thought I’d add another response as I’ve actually seen this come up when using another extension that uses the Integration tab, in my case it was ShipStation. What do you see currently in the Integration tab and do you know the plugin adding settings there?
If so, try disabling that plugin to see if the Square settings then will show up in the Integration tab. Let us know what you find.
Hi @pawdl,
Although I thought I had mine setup prior to the date of cutoff.
Contact us via our ticket form about this, we can get your site taken care of to return access to live rates.
I am hoping the WooCommerce Services plugin, which is used to purchase a shipping label, could also assume that the package size of a single item package.
Could you explain this further? You want to create one box that every product can use, or maybe more along the lines of assuming every product is individually wrapped in an appropriate box and not use any defined box size? I think the second one might be possible, just maybe.
Hi @ssharmaraven5,
I think I’ve had a different experience attempting to follow your steps. To explain I used a zip code in an entirely different state, but did your customer by chance use a zip code that was valid in the city or state? Maybe the typo was still technically correct?
Nonetheless, I see these errors when the zip code doesn’t match at the state level.

Link to image: http://cld.wthms.co/2RCCMHHi @pawdl,
I just wanted to clarify one point as it sounds like there is some confusion. The USPS shipping method gets your products weight and dimensions to then see what box a single or multiple items fit in. You can add custom boxes or use the pre-defined ones from USPS. It takes the box the product(s) fit into and includes that in the rate USPS returns for your customers.
Even though you said you don’t want to do this, I think your best option is to try creating boxes for each of your individual products. The way the box packing would/should work is that you create a custom box and set the interior dimensions of the box to match the product it fits. That way if a customer just orders a single product X and you have a box setup for X it’ll use that very exact fitting box to get rates for.
Hi there,
As far as I can remember using USPS from within WooCommerce Services has always required you have product dimensions and weight setup for your store. That is what is sent over to USPS for it to calculate the shipping rates offered to your customers.
Maybe I’m wrong and it was possible in the past, or maybe you are just now noticing the admin notice (added in a recent version), but at this point it is required and there’s not a way to turn it off. 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce] External URL Product GalleryHi @lazypeach,
I’m not aware of something that works with the product gallery in WooCommerce. I’ve just tried searching as well without any luck. It’s definitely going to be easier if you use the WordPress media library for those gallery images. 🙂
Hi Renaud,
That’s interesting, has anything/anyone customized your emails? Maybe there is a plugin in use or your theme may have template overrides for that. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here. Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to show woocommerce reviews on product pageLike @auludag says, it will take some custom work.
First you’ll have to remove the reviews tab, and then insert the reviews back into the product page in a way you see fit. That could be loading a random review every time the product is viewed, put them in a slider, etc…
You can use a snippet to remove it as outlined in our doc here. The other part of adding them back as you see fit will take some custom work on your end. 🙂
