Hi @turboedge & @erichboileau,
It looks like there are some options here as a workaround from adding dimensions to your products. That’d be my recommended solution. ๐
Otherwise you could use a version before 1.8 as @pdwetz noted that’s when the dimensions requirement came into play, or check out the post @suzzie526 found.
Hi there @suzzie526,
Could you first send us your system status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select โGet system reportโ and then โCopy for supportโ. Once youโve done that, you can paste it here.Second, would you be able to tell us the dimensions of that product in question plus the origin and destination addresses? It doesn’t need to be a full address but a state and city and zip would be helpful.
Hi @erlend1990,
I’m glad you’ve at least narrowed it down to a theme issue. It’s not 100% clear from the System Status, but I would still bring up the cart issue with the developers of AccessPress Store. –> http://accesspressthemes.com/
They can help figure out what is breaking that ability to select different available shipping methods. ๐
Hi @pawdl,
I think this is still possible by creating an order manually for the customer. You could even set the order as a guest order at first, so that the customer doesn’t receive the email notification that an order is processing under their account.
Once it’s set there you can print a label for it. Does that make sense?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Glad to hear that is the case, and hopefully that can work out for you and your store. Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Limit Woocommerce Membership DiscountHi @mandipluitel,
There doesn’t seem to be a way to offer a one time use discount via Memberships, or limit it to a quantity per order, but there could be other ways to do this.
Are you already using Memberships, and is it a required part of your site? If you’re only looking for ways to offer a quantity restricted discount irregardless of Memberships we can talk about some potential options. ๐

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Setting Up Free Tax (But Recording It)?Hi @theronin42,
I may not understand your question entirely here, so let me try to restate it to confirm we’re working towards the same thing. ๐
First, are you saying that customers shouldn’t realize they are paying tax but you still want to collect tax on purchases? If that is the case, you are correct that you’ll want to setup taxes to use the “Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax” setting under the Tax tab.
I do think that’s the best way to collect sales tax, but make it less noticeable by your customers. That will still include taxes in reports and whatnot for any sort of recording/reporting purposes.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Custom confirmation emails for different products?Hi @kbwebwork,
While there’s not a way built into WooCommerce core to do this it is certainly possible. If you wanted to avoid additional plugins you’d have to custom code it, otherwise there a plugins like the one listed below. ๐

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer update the address fieldHi @fondashci,
Could you first explain what you mean by custom fields? Are these fields you’ve added in some form with an extension?
On the default address fields, those can be changed at anytime by the customer in their My Account page but they don’t update any past orders just in case the details on those past orders are correct.
If you head into a previously placed order you can edit the billing and shipping address fields and use the “Load billing address” or “Load shipping address” link. This will update that info from their saved address.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping methodsThere should definitely be a way around this, but could you first confirm the normal names of those shipping methods?
Are you using just two Flat Rate Shipping methods for either charge 5โฌ at store or 2โฌ at home? Should one of the shipping methods only be available depending on the shipping classes in the cart, etc…?
I’m just curious of the desired outcome in fuller detail, could you explain more of what should happen depending on the product(s) and their shipping class? Thanks!
Hi @mailafgs,
You’ve mentioned Store Front, but I don’t think you are actually using our Storefront theme. Is that correct?
I mention that because Storefront doesn’t have any styling issues when using WooCommerce, it was built for WooCommerce in the first place. ๐
Nonetheless, it seems like your theme needs some updates or custom work to make WooCommerce look like it should. I’d reach out to the developers of the theme in use and see if they can add WooCommerce compatibility.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Edited Orders and Charges to CustomersHi @ndcadmin,
This would likely depend on the payment method and it settings. For example if your payment method was set to capture charges immediately, you wouldn’t be able to change the order total and then capture that new amount.
If your payment method lets you authorize charges you may be able to change the order total and add fees to then capture the new charge without issues. Like I said that all depends on your payment method used. ๐
Hi @erlend1990,
Thanks for this info here. What theme did you try to use with Live Preview? That’s odd that it didn’t work out for you.
Nonetheless, would you be able to test a theme switch on a staging site? If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
Try switching themes there, and if that doesn’t work deactivate all plugins outside of WooCommerce. If that fixes it, it would seem to be a plugin conflict. You can then reactivate plugins one by one to see if the issue comes back and find the culprit.
