Hi @monsoonmalabar,
It looks like you want to sell access to a page or area where a customer can only view/watch the video and not actually download a video file.
Do you have any additional info about your ideal setup? I know there are ways to restrict access to pages with other extensions, where you can embed your video at. Let us know and we can provide our best advice. 🙂
Hi @boppar,
Problem solved.
That’s a simple enough solution, thanks for being flexible with that. Was there something you were wanting to accomplish with Elementor we could perhaps still try to replicate now with Storefront?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Update not shown in DashboardHi Daniele,
That is odd indeed! With the default folder name it should’ve found the update, but it does definitely seem like a permission issue. Maybe the plugin was installed from a computer via FTP, and said computer applied odd permission files to the Stripe folder?
Again I’m sorry that happened for you and kept you from getting your site updated and SCA compliant. At least it is up to date now.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Compatibility with WooCommerce 3.8Hi @christinenicolelucido & @wpturnedup,
Stripe is currently compatible with WooCommerce 3.8, even if the plugin doesn’t explicitly state so.
If I can try to explain why this sort of thing happens, in short its because the last update to Stripe was released before WooCommerce 3.8 was released.
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/GBbFabThat notice comes from this line (arrow pointing to it :D) in the Stripe plugin which had it’s last update 21 days ago. So we can make that notice go away by updating the Stripe plugin, but we’re not usually going to create a release just to update that one line. Thus you see that notice right now unfortunately.
Ultimately though, like mentioned, the two are compatible if you can just ignore that notice causing unneeded confusion. If there were compatibility issues we would’ve released a version of Stripe alongside WooCommerce 3.8. I hope in the next release of Stripe we update that one line and the notice will go away for you all. Thanks!
my problem is in stripe payment gateway as when I am landing in checkout page fields of card details are missing and referring from the above discussion I find this in my log
2019-02-12T13:18:46+00:00 CRITICAL syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ‘,’ or ‘)’ in /home/u267340794/domains/troocolours.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/oceanwp/functions.php on line 943
please reply thanks in advanceThis is a theme issue here, I’d reach out to the developers of the Ocean WP theme with that error. If you still have any Stripe issues please do create a new post here for us. Thanks!
Hi @rajneesh0007,
My wooCommerce Subscription Plugin is not doing renewal payment automatically with Stripe , I have Customer Stripe ID and stripe_source_id in admin panel for subscription.
If you’re still having these issues please do create a new thread here if we can help. It also almost sounds like you are using our Subscriptions plugin from WooCommerce.com? If that’s the case then contact us here. –> https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square API not allowing card information to be enteredThanks a ton for the info and update @hristo-sg, it’s much appreciated. We all appreciate the work that helps SG Optimizer and WooCommerce play well together. 🙂
Howdy @lances,
I may not want to upgrade my live site to 2.0.5 due to several issues on testing:
– not support multiple variation attributes
– not sync from woo to square upon importing, cancelling orders etcTo clarify Square itself hasn’t supported multiple attributes since its inception. There are workarounds for that described here. –> https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-square/#faq-attributes
When you say issues from syncing from Woo -> Square upon importing, do you mean upon the first sync? If so what is your system of record and what issues do you notice in that sync?
Beyond that could you explain more for what you’re seeing when you mention cancelling orders?
Thanks!
Hi @jaydisc,
And everything went beautifully. I did not do a database restore.
Glad your downgrade went smoothly and things are working as you’d like. I think somewhere in there you’ve got lucky, so knock on wood! 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Inventory not Syncing from Woo to SquareHi @kadie,
Just to confirm for us quick, and I assume, in your Square settings tab in WooCommerce is the Sync inventory option enabled?
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/Nz7dqHI assume this is checked as even with Woo as your system of record it’s going to pull any matching inventory from Square. Thus the product will be synced over to Square but it seems to reset the inventory to 0. That second part doesn’t seem necessarily correct to me, so I’ll ask out team about this.
But in the mean time, once your product has synced from Woo -> Square you can adjust the inventory for said product in Square itself and then use the Fetch stock from Square link. Or also try this from within Woo…
When editing the published product first uncheck the “Sync with Square” checkbox in the General section.
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/maGd6AThen in the Inventory section you’ll be able to enter the stock you have on hand. Once you’ve done that go back to General and enable “Sync with Square” again and select Update on the product.
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/SVxwPaThis then pushes that inventory number over to Square.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square API not allowing card information to be enteredHi @moirtechnology,
Did the reply from @everville help clear things up. It seems to definitely be cache related since you can use the Square card form when logged in but not when logged out.
I think excluding the correct files will get checkout working again for any users who get the cached and optimized files.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Invalid request errorHi @bartomatto,
Thanks for the further explanation here.
As I explained in my previous email, it looks like with the plugin update multiple payments per order are not supported anymore. Is this feature going to be reintroduced?
I would doubt at the moment the ability to collect multiple payments for one order will be re-introduced. You could always suggest that via our ideas board though. –> http://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce
Also, today I was doing some further checks and I can see that customers are not automatically created in Stripe after a successfull payment.
I just tested this on my test site while logged out using a fake name and email address and did see that the customer was created in my Stripe.com account still. If this isn’t happening for you, then perhaps there is something else on the site blocking this or causing issues.
Again this was a guest checkout, did not create an account on my test site, but the customer was still created in Stripe.com

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Status after SOFORTHi @robbsen1987,
We do understand the problem, it’s just by design that Sofort payments will be set to pending anywhere from 2-14 days while the banks work out the transferring of funds.
Even though there is a low failure rate, tt would be a bad idea for us to set those to processing as the order hasn’t been confirmed paid for until the bank clears the funds and sends an update via the Stripe webhooks that it’s paid for.
Like mentioned though, the code is open source and you can modify how that works to fit your specific situation.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Need versions prior to 3.0Hi @mcheck,
The version I’d sent appears to be compatible with WooCommerce from versions 2.1 and above.
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/84pXg1But jumping to the next release, which was Stripe 3.0, sets the minimum WooCommerce version to 2.5+
Link to image: https://cld.wthms.co/HEfE46Had you tried using 2.6.12 and not having any luck? It appears to me to be that it is the latest release that supports WooCommerce 2.2.3, since the next release bumps to WooCommerce 2.5.
Thanks!
Hi @sawareco,
Ah ok, you’d made sure the site in question is now using an SSL certificate and everything looks good after that? 🙂
If so that seems to make sense, thanks for letting us know!
