In reply to: photo orientation on mobile deviceIf the plugin doesn’t fix your problem, try stripping the EXIF info from your images before you upload them. If you’re using Windows, you can use a free program called Irfanview to do so.

In reply to: [Sidebar Widgets by CodeLights] Plugin Not Playing Nicely with ThemeThanks, do you have a guide to manually creating the shortcode? Something that defines the parameters?
With regard to a Divi compatible version, I’d be happy to pay $19 as long as it has an unlimited site license. Many Divi plugins are sold like this.

In reply to: Customizr frontpagelinksEditing the wp-config.php by adding the wp_home and wp_siteurl is fine. I think your next step is to check that your URL is setup correctly under Settings > General (look for “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)”). Just be aware that changing these values might break your site. Read the article Changing The Site URL if it does break.

In reply to: how to add 4 products in each row on wordpress shop pageHi,
Have a look at the WooCommerce Product Archive Customiser plugin as recommended here. It claims to be able to adjust the number of columns available amongst other things.
Hope you come right,

In reply to: Portrait images rotate 90 deg when posted.Hi Mike,
Trying removing the EXIF data from your photos before you upload them to your site. Looks like some folk have the same problem as you with photos taken with mobile phones.
Irfanview can be used to remove EXIF data. Have a look at this thread for more info: https://irfanview-forum.de/showthread.php?t=8989
Hope this helps,
Rob

In reply to: Customizr frontpagelinksI’m not familiar with this theme but I can see that your domain name appears twice in the links on the buttons on the homepage. May I suggest you post a new support ticket on the customizr support forum?

A few thoughts:

In reply to: Static webpage AND blog simultanously?Hi Cecilia,
You can definitely have both. You just need to configure a page to use as your blog page. Here are a few simple steps:
1. Create a new page as you normally would and call it something like blog posts
2. Go to Settings > Reading and set the new blog page as your Posts Page
3. Now go to Appearances > Menu and add the page to your menu. You should now see a page that lists all your blog posts.
If you want a more detailed explanation, have a look at the post How to Create a Separate Page for Blog Posts in WordPress.
Hope that helps and that I wasn’t too vague.
If you still need help, please include a link to your site.

In reply to: Pages will not update and media file will not show grid libraryHi Steve,
Maybe try switching to a theme like Twenty Sixteen and see if that fixes the problem. If you can’t do it through the Dashboard (Appearance > Themes), you can upload the theme via ftp and rename the current themes folder.
Could you post the address of your site?
Please make sure you have a backup of the files, folders and database that make up your site before you make any changes.
Cheers,
Rob

In reply to: Portrait images rotate 90 deg when posted.Hi Mike,
I’ve had a look at one of your images and exif orientation looks right. If you’re using Windows, try downloading Irfanview and see if saving the images with the right orientation solves the problem.
Cheers,
Rob
