In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Doesnt send the mail.I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried sending to my company address as well as my gmail address and neither work.
Help! Please!
By the way, how does Contact Form 7 send mail? I’ve recently installed Better WP Security and am wondering if that’s caused a problem.
Thanks Toshi, you’re a star.
Did this:
.ngg-album-compactbox {
…
height:125px;
…
}Try ticking “Show next image on click”. You’ll find this under Gallery >> Options >> Slideshow.
Hope that solves this one for you. I’ve only been using NextGen gallery for a few hours now so I might be wrong.
Cheers
Rob

In reply to: Move from Windows to Linux Host – Site BrokenOkay, I managed to break it again! Figured out the problem though. I had edited a file (screen.php) in cPanel. After making the change the site broke, not because of the change but rather (I think) because of the character set. cPanel defaults to utf-8 character encoding. I ended up editing the file in Notepad ++ and then uploading it to the server. Now it’s working perfectly again!
Thanks for all your attention.

In reply to: Move from Windows to Linux Host – Site BrokenOkay, it looks like I’m back up and running. I went to Permalinks and without changing anything, I saved the settings and that seems to have done the trick.

In reply to: Move from Windows to Linux Host – Site BrokenI’ve managed to get the landing page working but now I’m getting a 404 error when I try and browse to any of the pages.
This site was working almost perfectly on the Windows host, I moved to Linux because there was some extra functionality that I needed that wasn’t available on the Windows host.

In reply to: How to centre text and image horizontallyThanks, but that also didn’t work. I’m entering this into the html section of a normal WP page… should something like this work there?

In reply to: How to centre text and image horizontallyHow would I do that in the WordPress page editor? I’ve tried it like this but it’s not working:
<div text-align: center;>
[one_half]
<img src=”/wp-content/themes/config/images/icons/phone.png” alt=”” /> <h7>021 534 7653</h7>
[/one_half][one_half_last]
<img src=”/wp-content/themes/config/images/icons/phone.png” alt=”” /> <h7>021 534 2847</h7>
[/one_half_last]

In reply to: How to get rid of unwanted pop upWhy don’t you try what I did, replace your theme with a clean copy. You should have a folder called geoplaces in your themes folder (you’ll find it here – assuming you’ve got file level access):
maniladestination.com\wwwroot\wp-content\themesForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to get rid of unwanted pop upI really don’t think it’s the theme. I think our sites were hacked. As I said earlier, mine’s working fine now after I replaced the theme (called config) with clean copy of the same.

In reply to: How to get rid of unwanted pop upGo back to templatic.com ( I assume that’s where you bought the theme) and download a fresh copy. Then backup the goeplaces theme folder, delete the old one and unzip the new one in it’s place.
