In reply to: [Comments Evolved for WordPress] disable for a CPT possible?well, it already has
if ( have_comments() ) : ?> <?php if ( ! empty($comments_by_type['comment']) ) : ?> <ol class="comment-list"> <?php // show individual comments wp_list_comments('callback=mytheme_comment&type=comment'); ?> </ol> <div class="comms-navigation"> <div style="float:left"><?php previous_comments_link() ?></div> <div style="float:right"><?php next_comments_link() ?></div> </div> <?php endif; endif;so that looks to be already covered 🙁

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Any shortcodes for display of available badges?OK, this isn’t documented anywhere that I can find however I did see reference to a shortcode in the screenshots.
I’ve used a shortcode of [badgeos_achievements_list type=badges limit=10] since the slug for the achievement type is /badges and get nothing showing on my test page here:
http://www.geekandjock.com/badges-awards-achievementsCan you tell me what I’m doing wrong or whether there’s a reference page for shortcodes that I’ve missed?
ThanksForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Comments Evolved for WordPress] disable for a CPT possible?oh thanks so much if you can find some time to do that Brandon. Much appreciated if you can and equally appreciated if you aren’t able to as well. Just thankful for a great plugin and what it does for the community

In reply to: [Comments Evolved for WordPress] disable for a CPT possible?Hmm OK, I’m not even going to attempt to play around with editing my comments.php – I thought there might have been a functions.php addition that I could have inserted.
My fat little uneducated fingers would surely cause more trouble than good in messing with php files 🙂
I’ll need to await your ponderings, methinks

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Any shortcodes for display of available badges?/badges (which is the slug for the achievement type) just takes me to the site’s homepage incidentally

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Downloads are pending after paymentWell, I just checked and I have order statuses for pending all the way up to (pending-6284) so there’s an obvious conflict somewhere.
Any idea how to [1] clear them out and [2] determine the plugin that’s in conflict?
I’m wanting to do some immediate product advertising promotion and this is a sticking point at the moment.
Any pointers would be great.

In reply to: [Comments Evolved for WordPress] Clone :)My niche is relationships. You what is the major cause of most relationship problems?
Communication and understanding each other”s points of view.
Both you guys are talented and both have the same objective to make the best commenting system plugin for WordPress and the very best outcome for what could potentially end up being a slagging match is to put aside each other’s negative thoughts and each agree you both have incredible talent and outlooks and ….. Collaborate! Now, take a big deep breathe and shake hands and be best buddies, OK?
Positive objectives will always always win the day. And in this case, I’m betting you both have some yet to be discovered mutual rewards on the horizon too.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BadgeOS Community Add-on] Achievements not getting awardedAha, OK, I must have not done something but they’re being issued now.
I’ll continue testing now 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BadgeOS Community Add-on] Achievements not getting awardedWell, no cigar, Brain.
Still no awards being triggered. It wouldn’t have anything to do with the log entries actually being published content themselves? And that’s going to fill the database up with unwanted content too.
But anyway, here’s a screen shot of the entries in log:
to win the test badge required a login and reply to a forum topic.

Just installed BuddyPress and struggling to get BadgeOS to work since I think they screwed it up with their last update. That said, have you given any thought to awarding points to Social Shares at all?
I’m not sure whether BadgeOS does this but Social Sharing would be a good enticement to get points as well as share content.Thoughts?
Did you manage to find a solution to this at all?

In reply to: [BadgeOS Community Add-on] Achievements not getting awardedAny feedback on this?
I posted a similar one in the main BadgeOS plugin forum.– can’t even manually award a Badge
– log entries appear to be actual published content types
– logs show awards are triggered and awarded yet nothing
– how does the size of a badge image affect things since I’d prefer something with more quality than what’s produced by the Credly widget. Is this an issue in any way?Same.
With more than 1.5 million downloads and strong support by Auttomatic and leading WP devs, I’d love to think Yoast would support Buddypress into this plugin too 🙁Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SeoPress] Don't seem to workThankfully I tested this on a localhost to discover it doesn’t work.
Even worse, the Buddypress pages failed to load at all.
High hopes since WP SEO by Yoast doesn’t support BuddypressForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Award doesn't triggerWell, I wish they’d hurry up 🙂
Can’t wait to use this plugin and see what people think
