In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] unpurchased tickets taken from inventory@cosmosolano no problem in answering this. Yes, the public forums search isn’t great.
What you are seeing is the timers. These are customizable under OpenTickets -> Settings -> Reservations.
There is an ‘Interest’ timer. The maximum length of time between the moment the user selects seat/zone, until the moment they choose a quantity and price to pay for that selection. If this time expires before the user chooses the quantity and price, then the ticket will be released back into the ticket pool.
Once they proceed to Cart, then there is a ‘Reserved’ timer. The maximum length of time between the moment the user selects a ticket, until they decide to pay for the ticket. After this time expires, if the user has not promised to pay, the tickets will be removed from their cart, and released back into the ticket pool.
Under either scenario, you can adjust those timers to reduce or increase them to fit your model.
Hope this helps understand what you are seeing.
@stunley Hello again!
I’m not exactly clear on what you are trying to accomplish, but perhaps this can help.
The Event page where you create it, with the calendar, is the ‘Parent’. The events you create with the Calendar and the buttons underneath are the ‘Child’.
The best way to preview an individual event is to go to ‘Events’ and view the ‘All’ tab. This will show the individual Child Events (what people are going to see on the public calendar) and you can view them from here.
Hope this explains well. Please re-open if you need further help.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Missing widgets@stunley Hello!
Those are features that are for a paid extension called Display Options.
Here’s a link to the product page:
https://opentickets.com/software/opentickets-display-options/
The page you are seeing is the page showing the functions of this plugin.
If you already bought this plugin, and need help, you can open a ticket on http://opentickets.com/my-account . Click ‘Orders’ and there are ‘Get Help’ buttons by each order on your My Account page.
@therealstevedavis great cause! we believe in helping others and customers that use our software in creative ways like this make it worth all the work that goes into it.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Error 404 and wrong "Top Level Events" count@ht-2 It sounds like a WordPress exploit from some of your examples. It is unlikely, though not impossible, WooCommerce or OT has a vulnerabiility.
However, since both run on WordPress, and WordPress handles all authentication, and, with proper setup, all security of USer Accounts.
Here’s just a handful of possible ways to get in.
– Default WordPress isn’t uber-secure without using some Security plugins like iTHemes Security and WordFence
– SOmeone with priviliges could have a keylogger, which gave some hacker access by letting them watch your keystrokes to login
– the server itself could have gotten a remailer payload (from your example, this is likely)
– if you aren’t using HTTPS on your website, and are logging into Admin via http, that’s like using plain text. If you are on a wifi, someone can packet sniff that password
– if you permissions aren’t set right, someone could drop php into yoru install, often through the uploads folder not prevening php uploadsWe can do a screen-share session to help you take a look and advise. If that is of interest, email info at opentickets.com and we can schedule a time.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Warning Missing Argument error after update@domzanacion we’ve not heard back, so let us know if this is an issue. Quite often updating OpenTickets and WordPress or WooCOmmerce resolve this.
We’ll mark resolved, if still an issue please let us know and re-open.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Plugin broke WordPress@dougdavis22 We have not heard back, so perhaps an update resolved your issue. If you do need help, please let us know.
Will mark this Resolved, but if still issue feel free to reopen and let us know.
@bjhiltbrand thank you! We’ll add this to our internal plugin list. Appreciate the follow up and will mark this resolved.
It is VERY helpful to let us know when you find a resolution. It prevents us from searching for obscure things, and we learn about something that will help a future customer.
Greatly appreciated. Enjoy!
@skoda007 The issue is that WordPress and WooCOmmerce only know what time it is right now, not ‘what the time will be in the future’. When creating Posts (Events) they don’t know about crossing time change/daylight boundaries.
So there’s nothing we can do here. However, the good news is once the time changes, the ticket time will be correct for the (then) current time.
However, permalinks, once saved are ‘saved’, so you’ll need to manually adjust them you have your settings set to ‘show time’ in the event URL.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] stage or not?@chipweb The stage should not have been in the wild, and we’ve submitted to google repeatedly to remove. Thanks for bringing to attention and we’ve just manually removed that site.
Cheers for the heads up!
@therealstevedavis When you are talking about availability, sounds like you are using the COmmunity Edition. You just need to go the the ‘Event Area’ that you setup and increase the available Capacity.
You are correct about ‘Inventory’. The Product inventory has no bearing on events. That’s really meant for selling physical products.
If you change the Capacity for your event you should be fine.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] map to venuecan we get a login to the website please? If you can email that to support at opentickets.com we have to be able to see the issue from the backend.
@bjhiltbrand It seems that you might need to update OpenTickets to latest version?
Can you verify you are on the latest version?
First, apologies for late reply! I hope your issues were resolved before launch. Are you a Community user only or do you have paid Extensions?
We have changed our support, added people and changed systems, so we’re going to be on this forum much more often.
In the meantime, please let us know if any of the issues you mentioned remain.
One note: The non-sequential numbers in orders. That’s a WooCommerce thing. There is a plugin to create sequential numbers.
