    HELP!
    When someone just INITIATES purchasing tickets, they put in the number of tickets and click reserve, but then they DON’T complete the purchase, (example someone forgot to get the right payment method so they just closed the browser after clicking “resserve”) the calendar NOW shows that those tickets are no longer available!
    on a few occassions, the event shows sold out because of someone starting to purchase tickets but not finishing.
    This has ALWAYS happened, even through a few upgrades. I’d LOVE to not have to go in and fix this, or ADD false seats to the events to fix it.

    *My apologies if this has been answered, however I’ve tried the search feature on the forums which comes up with completely unrelated results, AND I’ve gone through pages of the forum, and simply can’t sit and read 20+ pages to try and see if this has been answered yet…

    @cosmosolano no problem in answering this. Yes, the public forums search isn’t great.

    What you are seeing is the timers. These are customizable under OpenTickets -> Settings -> Reservations.

    There is an ‘Interest’ timer. The maximum length of time between the moment the user selects seat/zone, until the moment they choose a quantity and price to pay for that selection. If this time expires before the user chooses the quantity and price, then the ticket will be released back into the ticket pool.

    Once they proceed to Cart, then there is a ‘Reserved’ timer. The maximum length of time between the moment the user selects a ticket, until they decide to pay for the ticket. After this time expires, if the user has not promised to pay, the tickets will be removed from their cart, and released back into the ticket pool.

    Under either scenario, you can adjust those timers to reduce or increase them to fit your model.
