In reply to: [Simply Exclude] Doesn't work with PHP 5.4@andreas Beer,
Hmm. The plugin doesn’t do anything specific to a PHP language. Just hooks into some of the existing WordPress filters. But will check to see what I can find out.
Can you provide any more details on what doesn’t work? Could this be something else within your WordPress environment theme, other plugin, etc. ?

In reply to: Media tags – display url&title of posts associated with each imageApologies that it has been 5 months since your original post. Do you still need assitance with this question?
Just updated Media-Tags 3.1.2 which should solve your issue. See this other thread. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/media-tags-slug-sanitizing-not-working-on-special-characters?replies=5

In reply to: [Media Tags] Media Library: filter data, searchSorry for not responding earlier. I’m finally getting back to some of these support threads.
I like your ideas. Unfortunately the search on the Media > Library screen is pretty much owned by WordPress and there does not appear to be many options for plugins to hook into that search. I was able to get the Media-Tags column added to the Library listing as well as the dropdown allowing for filtering. That is pretty much the limit at the moment.

In reply to: [Media Tags] Media-tags slug sanitizing not working on special charactersFinally figured out the issue on the Bulk popup entry fields. The others seemed to work correctly.
So here is the patched code. Would appreciate a second review before I officially release the change.

In reply to: [Media Tags] Not Quite Compatible with 3.5Thanks. Yeah, since the WP 3.5 new Media screen hit they removed many of the hooks plugins developer can use to ‘enhance’ the media screens. So far I’ve not been able to figure out ways around this. And so far WP has not released official documentation on options for the media screens.
In WP 3.5.x this is no longer as straight forward on filtering images. When you are on the post edit page and click the side widget to set the featured image WordPress limits what you are seeing.
To see what I mean instead of clicking the sidebar widget. Click instead the ‘Add Media’ button above the content area. When you do this you will see the ‘Media Tags’ menu item on the left. Clicking this will show a listing of your Media-Tags and the count. Then click through to the image you want. This is the older style view of the media section. So far I’ve not figured out a method to add Media-Tags to the other view.

In reply to: [Media Tags] Media-tags slug sanitizing not working on special charactersThe Media-Tags plugin uses the same functions as any other taxonomy term sanitizing. So just like you would enter a Post tag. but will look into this later today.

In reply to: [Media Tags] How to omit /blog/ from Media Tags urlThis is not really something controllable within Media-Tags. The Media-Tags plugins is simply a plugin to organize your media items into tags much like you would organize your posts into post tag. With that being stated how are your post tags URLs structured? My guess is they are the same http://www.domain.com/blog/tag/post-term. You are seeing this because you have WordPress installed into the /blog/ sub-folder.
The function of the permalink is really something core to WordPress. So you need to look for some way to change your overall permalinks. Sorry I can’t help you with specific suggestions.

In reply to: [JM Twitter Cards] Conflict with Plugin "Simply Exclude"In your function add_twitter_card_info() you have the following lines.
if (is_home() || is_front_page()) { echo "\n".'<!-- JM Twitter Cards by Julien Maury (version 2.1) -->'."\n"; echo '<meta name="twitter:card" content="'. $opts['twitterCardType'] .'"/>'."\n"; echo '<meta name="twitter:creator" content="@'. $opts['twitterCreator'] .'"/>'."\n"; echo '<meta name="twitter:site" content="@'. $opts['twitterSite'] .'"/>'."\n"; //post page var $posts_page_id = get_option( 'page_for_posts'); // Paul The value of $posts_page_id is ONLY valid IF showing a static Page on front. $posts_page = get_page( $posts_page_id); $posts_page_title = $posts_page->post_title; $posts_page_url = get_page_link($posts_page_id ); echo '<meta name="twitter:url" content="' . $posts_page_url . In reply to: [JM Twitter Cards] Conflict with Plugin "Simply Exclude"jmlapam, I’m the author of the Simply Exclude plugin. I caught this thread in my feed. Let me know if you find any conflict on my end. The SE plugin basically will allow filtering of the main page wp_query. The principle functionality is simple as in this Codex page. The SE plugin just builds atop that basic functionality for Post Types and Taxonomies.
