@lhtek – Sorry for that inconvenience; it usually works the first time through in cases like the one you described.

@pirchner – The WPML code base when inserting a segment into the URL can cause issues at times (although not apparently in all cases) although we are trying to adjust for this in our upcoming release(s).
Thanks!

@moyup – There does appear to be a problem with the theme itself as there is no “footer” section being rendered on the pages of the site.
I would recommend contacting the theme author to have them review their code to see why the footer is not being rendered. Once that is resolved I expect the JavaScript and CSS NextGEN Gallery uses to be called and your displays should work as they did previously.
Thanks!

@benteague – Thanks for the update!

@hkuirinlahti – Although not the information I asked for it also appears you no longer have NextGEN Gallery active on your site.
Thanks!

@lhtek – Please try our external Reset Tool plugin here: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip
To install and activate, go to Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin
To use, go to Tools > NextGEN Gallery ResetWe do not offer specific support for the Reset Tool plugin as is but it can help in many circumstances, please let us know if it does.
Thanks!

@hkuirinlahti – What are you seeing for the Server settings under Gallery > Overview | Site Details?
Thanks!

@marupilla – Aside from using the old NextGEN Legacy shortcode your template may no longer be available after the update. Please use your backup of the custom template and re-save it to the appropriate location in NextGEN Gallery or your current theme so it can be found and used.
These are the three most common places to store NextGEN Legacy custom templates:
../wp-content/themes/[yourtheme]/nggallery/ ../wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/ ../wp-content/ngg/legacy/templates/Thanks!

@reannaa – You can edit the individual cropping of the thumbnail under Gallery > Manage Galleries … click on the gallery to edit then when you hover over the image you will see an Edit Thumbnail link. This will allow you to change the cropping of the image to a more appropriate part.
As to making all the images the same size after clicking on the thumbnail you would likely need to do that before uploading the images as the “original” image is being displayed after you click on its thumbnail.
Thanks!

@studio112 – I would suggest reviewing the option you have chosen for what the Lightbox Effect tries to be applied to under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … try using the default of only working with NextGEN Gallery images.
Thanks!

@hkuirinlahti – That’s hard to say, it may be a case where you need to use the Reset Option now, especially if the server update made any changes to paths in your environment.
Thanks!

@hoffmaao – If you click on the edit icon within the placeholder for the inserted display you should see the Sort or Exclude accordion panel at the bottom of the Insert Gallery Window (IGW) / Add Gallery button pop-up window.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] centre align@melza0 – Without the specifics of the display type you are referring to I cannot say for certain especially without a URL to where it is inserted at although the following custom CSS added under Gallery > Other Options > Styles generally works for the Basic Thumbnails display (you may need to tweak it depending on any other CSS from the site):
/** Center Basic Thumbnails */ .ngg-galleryoverview { text-align: center !important; } .ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box { float: none !important; display: inline-block !important; }Thanks!

@benteague – I suspect there is something in the staging server environment that is causing this problem to persist as you have described most troubleshooting steps we would recommend (especially the Reset Option) although it may be a case where you need the Reset Tool plugin as it operates outside of the NextGEN Gallery plugin but is designed to accomplish the same goal as the Reset Option.
Please try the external Reset Tool plugin, here’s a link: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip
To install and activate, go to Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin
