@marupilla – Aside from using the old NextGEN Legacy shortcode your template may no longer be available after the update. Please use your backup of the custom template and re-save it to the appropriate location in NextGEN Gallery or your current theme so it can be found and used.

These are the three most common places to store NextGEN Legacy custom templates:

    ../wp-content/themes/[yourtheme]/nggallery/
    ../wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/
    ../wp-content/ngg/legacy/templates/

    Thanks!

I have seen this message if the template used does not match the gallery. Try changing the template to default an see f it works.

@iancalhaem – Thanks for the suggestion.

@amitwaliahtml – It may be best to start from the default and then move forward from there.

    Thanks!

    Hello,
I use Nextgen Gallery since about 2 years and I have created at least 33 galleries.
Installed version is free version 2.2.14.
I always use basic thumbnails display with the template NextGEN Legacy: gallery.php

So now I want to display EXIF data under the photo when I click on a thumbnail.
I don’t know how to do that.

    Could you help me ?

    Thanks a lot
