I appreciate you looking into it. An example that I think will come up a lot are ones where there is a free plugin and you decide to go Pro and it requires you to keep the free plugin installed. I’ve seen this with:
Elementor
Many Elementor add-ons
SEO PressConversely, there are developers that actually have you uninstall the free version and install the pro instead of it like iThemes Security. iThemes Security acquired Better WP Security and I suspect they weren’t diligent enough with the renaming of all the tables.
It creates a challenge for you guys but real anxiety for the rest of us who are getting false positives. If it’s not reliable then is it doing your users a disservice?
@khandakershahi you may have to blow out all of your cache in your browser AND on the site/server. I just had that issue with another plugin. It’s starting to become second nature to do it across the board.
A 2 star review because they didn’t give enough fields in a free plugin? That’s a little unreasonable IMO. Honestly, this is one of the better coded free plugins in the repo. Fee free to check out some of this other stuff. Bloated and poorly coded.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Elementor proI too would love to know how to make this work.
If I’m understanding this correctly, the post has to have a traditional author and THEN a co-author(s) can be added? Is that right? Or am I able to create lots and lots of Co-Author profiles and just assign them to the post without creating any genuine users in WP?
Also, does this display in author archives in Elementor the way it does with non-page builders?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Password Protected Pages Not WorkingFor me, the best way to fix this was to pull the password protected page out of the LiteSpeed cache. It’s easyto do if you are logged in. You simply find the LSSC icon on the top admin bar and from the dropdown choose “Mark Page As > Non-Cachable”.
I don’t love this solution as it slows the page down however since search engines can’t get to it it won’t hurt your rankings – just might annoy your visitors….
Yeah, I had to sign in on a DIFFERENT screen THEN reactivate RankMath THEN clear all caches and CSS/js minis. It’s back now. Whew!
I went through the different options for lightbox options in this plugin and found a couple caused this error. After trying them all out, I picked one that works well. I’m not sure if it’s a conflict with Hellow Elementor theme or any of the Elementor add-ons but for whatever reason, 3 or 4 of them in this plugin take exception. Catastrophe averted. 🙂
Unfortunately, the site is still in development so I can’t share a link up here. I’ve got a few add-on packs installed for Elementor. Any of them could have lightbox module built in. Would it be specific to the page or the entire site?
I’d like to request a feature where we can have a Photonic widget appear in the Elementor page builder so we can drag and drop that into a page. I love the plugin and I think a lot of people would make use of such a feature.
It’s not putting it in somewhere else. Once is the limit to which I’m willing to report a bug. If you want it in your systems, I recommend you copy and paste it in there yourself – or don’t. It doesn’t matter to me. I’ve used another element from another plugin developer to accomplish what u wanted. TBH, I’ve been doing that a lot lately. Eventually, I’ll have no use for your elements at all…..
My points about the bugs in the elements still stand – and that there’s little, if any, support on the site. I reached out several times there before coming here.
TBH, I’m regretting getting the premium plugin as I don’t see any difference whatsoever between the free and premium plugins from an elements perspective.
You don’t think I tried that?
While I appreciate the thinking, the whole reason you use these add-ons is so you don’t HAVE to do that css work. This is certainly a bug and it should be fixed. I’m finding more and more in HT Mega. I’m starting to regret buying the premium plugin.
I went with the default Elementor bottom and threw some motion effects on it. Looks just as good and no third party to worry about.

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] How do I use this?I get what you are saying. I’m saying that we use lots of plugins that are in the WP repo up here on WP.org and there’s no rollback option for any of them.
