In reply to: Query to Delete Duplicate Comments?I had the same thing happen with Livefyre. Annoying. If you find out how to get rid of the dupes, please let me know.
I had some luck turning off the SDK on the plugin options while using the “new” version. Seems to work fine now. Hope they are able to fix it so that we don’t have to learn this stuff the hard way……
That’s no very helpful though. FB comments need to be instant. I just had a bunch just fall off my site when they were previously there. Very annoying.

In reply to: WordPress visual/html editor stripping out linksThe weird thing is, it’s so inconsistent across all of my sites. Some are just fine and others will wipe out tons of code just by me accessing the page/post. I don’t even have to update it and it go all crazy. I am really really surprised by this as WP in it’s own right is so darn stable and well thought out. Like I said before, I have started using Live Writer and I doubt I will ever go back but it makes for limitations when it comes to not working on one of my own machines….

In reply to: WordPress visual/html editor stripping out linksI don’t think it’s the plugin. WP’s editor has been a problem for quite some time. Many of my friends have long left it behind. I just installed Live Writer and I don’t think I will ever look back.

In reply to: WordPress visual/html editor stripping out linksnah, I stopped doing that years ago when I found the pitfalls of it stripping out the paragraph tags.
I installed Advanced TinyMCE which has an option to keep it from doing that and it all stopped working just recently.

In reply to: Plug install crashes my admin areaI can’t even install plugins on my site through the admin anymore. It just freezes up and takes me to http://www.google.com (my browser’s home page). Just noticed it today. It’s only when I try to install a plugin….

In reply to: Can't install plugins via DashboardI have had the same thing just happen to one of my five sites. It makes no sense. Only this one will no longer allow me to install any additional plugins. Could it be that I have a corrupt file on the server?

In reply to: Content not showing up anymoreI fixed the problem and wanted to share it with those of you on this thread so you won’t have to deal with it in case this happens to you. I installed a caching plugin last year called WP Super Cache. It basically caches the whole site regularly in an effort to speed up the response time on the site. It created a directory OUTSIDE of the regular WP directories. When I uninstalled it (because it sucked) it left the folder with all of the current cache as a remnant on my server.
For some unknown reason it was defaulting non-registered users to that folder. I must have tweaked some plugin or WP setting that triggered it. Lesson learned, stay away from this plugin.
Thank you all again for your inputs and help. I really appreciate it.

In reply to: Content not showing up anymoreI did #1 and #2. I am using Dreamweaver for my FTP so I am unsure how to do that. Can you give me a resource for it? I am also going to uninstall all inactive plugins that we don’t use since they are just up there doing nothing. I was keeping them as reference. Is there a change they could be messing with the site.
The thing that bugs me is that when you are logged into the site you see everything fine but if you are not then it looks all crazy.

In reply to: [WP Super Edit] [Plugin: WP Super Edit] Compatibility with WP e-CommerceThanks so much man. I just got this too and the fix worked like a charm. I had to switch off of tinyMCE-advanced because it was locking up my admin drop-down menus for some reason. Once I got WP Super Edit installed the same functionality was restored but then I got that error.
You just saved me a ton of anxiety.

In reply to: [Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin] Members loginIt also wouldn’t be the worst thing int the world if they incorporated a registration aspect to this plugin and take care of everything all at once with one plugin.
I got a similar post:
Warning: call_user_func(post_submit_meta_box) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxx/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 2868I have no idea where this. It has made the edit post/page screens go wonky. No ability to access any menu or even up date a page/post. Needless to say, there are a series of 10 slightly different errors on these pages. I am very confused.
