Hello @clclclcl!
The Yoast sitemap is automatically updated as you add, remove, or change your content. So if you’ve deleted a post or page, regardless if it’s redirected, the plugin is still expected to remove that from the sitemap.
Hello @kirstenkerr5!
The Yoast SEO plugin only analyses the default WordPress content areas. It does not recognize content that is outside of the main content box of a page or post. If you are adding your content using custom fields or other plugin/theme content boxes, widgets, including page builders and visual composers, our plugin might not be able to detect it by default.
In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.
If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation.
With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site.
Hello Dino!
This typically occurs when the update (or installation) couldn’t complete correctly probably due to server interruption or server hiccups during the process. Uninstalling the reinstalling the plugin usually fixes this issue.
Hello Becky!
If everything’s updated on your site, we need you to perform a conflict check. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site. You may follow the steps here: How to check for plugin conflicts.
Hello @darren_s!
Yes, the Yoast SEO meta box on each individual page. Sorry to say there’s no option in the plugin to mass update all your pages. You can use another plugin for that though.
Hello @supportitc!
Looks like you’re trying to change your permalink structure rather than remove the category prefix. Please refer to this kb article.
Hello @devalexdev!
Can you please perform a conflict check? The fastest way to do this is to reactivate Yoast SEO, deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.

Hi @egyptechnoo!
Do you see any errors or warnings? If not, then the update may have fixed the issue. Plugin updates typically contain bug fixes so it’s possible that the issue was fixed in one of those.
Hello @webdancer123!
Can you please check your settings under SEO → Search Appearance → Knowledge Graph & Schema.org (section)? You need to select either “Organization” or “Person” from the dropdown.
Hello @adairk!
We found a bug in our 14.6 release causing a conflict with Jetpack. We’ve already fixed that in v14.6.1. Can you please make sure you’re updated?
Hello @kastali_bleikr!
That is fine. You can either do a search and replace in the database (using your preferred plugin) or install the Yoast Test Helper plugin to help you reset the indexable tables in your database. Once installed and activated, go to Tools > Yoast Test and click on “Reset indexables”. Then click the “Start processing and speed up your site now” button.
For the health and safety of your site, we recommend creating regular backups of your site and database. This is especially important before installing, updating, removing plugins, or making changes to your database.

You’re welcome. Enjoy optimizing your site!
Does the issue only occur when using the classic editor? We’ve identified a similar issue described here and our development is already aware of it. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an ETA as to when this will be resolved but you can follow that Github issue for updates on its resolution.
Hello @laurarduggan!
The Yoast SEO plugin you’re running is very old. The latest version is 14.6.1 and you’re still running v3.2.5. Can you please update your plugin first?
Since you’re updating from a very old version, it may not work via the WordPress admin. You need to update it manually via FTP.
Hello @servermonks!
The URL you provided shows the following breadcrumbs:
Home > Home And Living > Artifacts > Dokhra Metal Work > Buddha Face Statue
Can you please elaborate on the changes you want to implement?
