Hello @blaagrrrl!
Can you please provide us the URL where this issue occurs so we can test on our end?
Hello @petarristic!
We’re sorry you’re having trouble using the Yoast SEO plugin. I imagine this can be frustrating for you.
There have been major changes to the developer hooks and the database starting with the 14.0 update. Can you please confirm that your server still meets the minimum plugin requirements?
Hello @benh2142!
Homepage and product categories aren’t typically cornerstone contents. In most cases, the homepage links directly to your cornerstone contents.
If you mark specific content as cornerstone content, the analysis will be stricter on SEO and readability than the usual analysis. We recommend 300 words for a regular page or post but this increases to 900 when you mark a post or page as a cornerstone article. More information here: https://yoast.com/what-is-cornerstone-content/
Hello @akhtarjii!
It appears that your sitemap is generated by Rank Math, not Yoast SEO.
You may need to check with them. 😉Also, just an FYI, I did a
site:https://humbletricks.comsearch on Google and can confirm that your site has been indexed already. It returned over 500 results.Hello @alizain1!
Both “Budgie Food” and “Best Budgie Food” are very generic but perhaps the competition to rank for “Best Budgie Food” is higher compared to “Budgie Food”. We have some guides on keyphrases that you may find helpful. Please refer to the following:

We haven’t seen a similar issue reported by another user since the WordPress 5.5 update. Can you please describe how you’ve done the following?
Private content plugin (intranet) had set as ‘off’ for Google Indexing in Yoast plugin.
Hello @healtholine!
Have you performed a conflict check as described by Carl earlier? We need you to perform a conflict check so we can pinpoint where the problem is. Please follow the steps here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/
Hello Karen!
MS Word and other word processors interpret formatting differently. With word processors, typically, the end goal is to have a static printable document. Content for websites, on the other hand, has to be dynamic. The goal is to have the content shown on different browsers, varying sizes of screens, even different specs of end-user’s device, etc.

Hello @esoos!
We checked your site and it’s redirecting properly from HTTP to HTTPS and this makes the rel canonical tag redundant. Search engines will not detect the rel canonical tag since they’re redirected before loading any content.
Hello @ghensh!
This is related to the use of Ryte. The Ryte check is a single call to the Ryte services. They, in turn, try to reach your website to see if it’s accessible or indexable by robots. If they see your website, this check passes.
The cause of these errors can lie anywhere on the route between your website and the Ryte servers.
- Your own website/server can have (security) protocols or even plugins or code in place that prevent this request from completing
- The route over the internet from your website to Ryte can be broken somehow (extremely unlikely)
- Some system in between your website and Ryte does not allow/process this call, maybe due to security reasons because your website is on a blacklisted server
While it’s not a nice error to see, it’s difficult to pinpoint why this happens. And it’s almost impossible for someone who is not the website owner/host to determine this.
Having said that, this is an error that does not influence your site ranking in any way. You can read more in this article and there are even a few links to run this test manually.
Additionally, if you wish to disable the Ryte check, we have instructions on how to do this here.
I am using title elements alternated with text block elements
If you’re using the Avada-specific title element, the Yoast SEO plugin won’t be able to recognize that.red/orange/green rating I get is only for my information
Correct. As long as you know you have added the right content like heading, internal links, images, etc., so will Google. Google will still be able to scan the source code of the page.Yes. Our XML sitemap functionality is the same for both free and premium.
Hello @studio1337!
If you are familiar with the WordPress Command Line Interface (WP-CLI), you can perform the indexation on all sites within the network using that. More information here: https://developer.yoast.com/customization/yoast-seo/indexables-cli/
