Theoretically, that is what the plugin will do. Most of the time it works out of the box, but there are things it simply can’t fix. I could spend a ton of time developing methods to fix some extra things, but it’s a lot easier to have users fix them when they run into them. There is no guarantee that the plugin will fix every error, but I’ve been refining it for a couple of years now. It’s pretty good, if I’m allowed to say so. 😛
Edit: I might have misread, but just to clarify, you have to have an SSL certificate in order for an HTTPS page to appear secure. No way around it. If the thank you page doesn’t contain any sensitive data, which I’m assuming it won’t, I see no reason to secure that page.
This problem will probably be resolved if you update to the latest version. Make sure you uninstall the current version and install the newest version fresh.
What is the URL in the address bar when the page works? What is it when it doesn’t work?

I certainly can’t reproduce that. I’ve used the plugin on a few multisites. For example, here’s a sub-site using this feature and working https://blog.wordpresshttps.com/sample-page/.
Are you sure it’s not browse caching or something like that? Could you try setting up a fresh WP install on the same server, installing the plugin, and seeing if the problem persists?
If you uninstall the plugin, the secure post settings will be deleted. That is the only way that I’m aware of.
You’ll have to provide more detail on what’s happening. What does “not loading correctly” mean? What URL is it trying to fetch and failing on?
I looked at the site and it seems fine, so maybe you figured it out.

So if you hit it over HTTP with a query string, when it’s redirected to HTTPS the query string is gone? That’s not what you described, but I’m assuming that’s what you meant?
Just to be sure, could you tell me if there are any errors in your browser’s console when this happens?

You could use an E-commerce plugin. I’ve used WP E-commerce a few times. I don’t know if it’s the best, but it’s the only one I can really vouch for. It can integrate with Authorize.net and a few other gateways. They have a pretty active support forum. It’s also free.
Well, if you’re using that gateway and they say you require an SSL certificate, then get one. You don’t have to use that gateway though. Like I said, it’s not a bad idea to get one either way.
