Fixed on version 3.2.12. Thanks for reporting!
Hi David,
that’s a feature you have available in the Premium version of the plugin. You can check it out here. Other users add shortcodes to add custom buttons, forms, ligthboxes…
Regards,
The Molongui Support TeamNotifications not being dismissed issue has been fixed as of version 3.2.2.
Sorry for that, thanks for reporting and many thanks for the help received to track down the issue! Much appreciated.

The Molongui Support TeamHi again,
we have been testing and checking on our testing environment and admin notices get dismissed just as expected. Could you please open a support ticket using the integrated form in the plugin “Support” page (Molongui > Support) so we can gather some more information about your installation, please? Dismissals are stored in transients. Do you have database caching enabled? Or some sort of plugin that cleans up transients, maybe?
Thanks for helping us to track down the issue!
Hi there,
thanks for reporting that. That’s obviously not the way it is intended to work. Dismissal should dismiss the notice for the indicated period. We will look into that and fix it in the next update.
Thanks again!
Regards,
The Molongui Support Teamchanged it to 10, then turned it back off and that seems to be a good workaround (my guest authors have 6-8 posts normally).
Great. Then I can confirm is the issue we have fixed for 3.2.0.
bio column gets all crazy if there’s any html (such as hyperlinks) in the guest author’s bio
Yes, that’s another issue we were aware of and that has been already fixed in version 3.2.0. Again, thanks for reporting!
Hi @cgscomputers,
yes, it is a known issue we have already fixed in the upcoming new version, 3.2.0. I guess 4 is the number of related entries you have configured to show in the author box. Is that so?
Thanks for reporting!
Hi @scionofstorm!
you can find all the author box styling settings at the WP Customizer. Just go to “Molongui > Authorship settings > Author box tab”. There you will find a (blue) button with the label “Open customizer”. Click on it and the Customizer will open.
You can play around with all the styling settings the plugin offers. But those marked as “premium” will not be saved and default value will prevail. Premium settings should display a notice.
Not sure what text color would you like to change. You can change author name text color for instance. But if you want to change meta and bio color you will need the Premium version.
We are documenting the plugin (check it out here), but you can have direct access to us if you need assistance with plugin settings (open a support ticket here). We will be happy to help!
Happy you like the plugin! 🙂
Hi @whateverfree2,
latest update (3.1.9) allows you to use the above mentioned template tag outside the loop as long as you provide the post’s ID as a first attribute.
Hope that helps!
Since there hasn’t been any answer from you, I’m closing this ticket. Feel free to reopening it if you need further assistance.

Molongui Support TeamHi @whateverfree2,
you might find useful a function named “get_the_molongui_author_name”. It returns the author(s) display name(s) of the current’s page. Keep in mind that it must be used within ‘The Loop’.
Does it serve your purpose?
Regards,
Molongui Support TeamHi @whateverfree2!
wow, perfect timing! It is indeed a feature we have added to the Premium version of the plugin.
There are two new settings (under “Advanced” tab) named “Encode email addresses” and “Encode phone numbers”. Enabling them makes emails and phones displayed into the author box being encrypted on the source code of the page. That doesn’t affect how they are displayed on your screen, but prevents SPAM bots to retrieve them.

Molongui Support TeamHi @marketfresh,
Thanks for getting in touch. Molongui Authorship is fully compatible with PHP 7.2. The reason that you are seeing those errors from the compatibility checker is that the plugin is also backwards compatible with previous PHP versions.
