@german71, don’t bother, we have released an update (version 4.0.5). Please, let us know if it fixes the issue you reported.
OK. Which version of the plugin do you have installed now?
@ctaylor30 and @cgscomputers, don’t worry, we are looking into this. Hopefully we will be able to release a fix today. Thanks for reporting!!
Hi @german71,
I can see you use a cache plugin. Did you clear all caches (plugin, server and CDN’s, if present) after plugin update? If you didn’t please, clear them all and check if the issue persists. If it does, please let us know so we can look into it.
We have addressed the issue and the fix will be included in the next update of the plugin (version 4.0.5).
If we understood correctly, the issue prevented you from opening the “Quick Edit” view on the “Categories” page due to a javascript error. Now that is fixed 🙂
Hope you give the plugin another chance and might reconsider your rating.
Thanks!
Hi @i4963154364,

Hi @cgscomputers,
thanks for your feedback! We are going to look into it so that can be fixed.
Hi @xxxlesy,
might it be that latest update (4.0.4) we have just released minutes ago have fixed the issue? I’ve made a few tests and I’m pretty sure it did. We are gonna make some more tests, though.
Hi @xxxlesy,
thanks for reporting, especially with such detail! We are going to look into it right away.
Hi @cgscomputers,
regardless of that setting, you can disable the author box on “pages” post-type by selecting the option “Only on Posts” for the “Post Types” setting you can find under: Molongui > Authorship Settings > Author Box > Display. Can’t you?
In fact, that’s the setting you should use to control where the author box is displayed automatically. The setting you mention is intended to control all plugin features (author box, co-authors, guest authors…). On the free version of the plugin, it is set to be enabled on both, posts and pages, and cannot be changed.
Please, let us know if this helps.
Didn’t it? I’ve just made a test and it worked on our testing environment. I’ve installed the Easy Footnotes plugin and set “Order” to 21 and it make the author box to be displayed below footnotes.
Sure, you can reach us out whenever you need. You can use the form at the end of this page: https://www.molongui.com/support/
Cheers!
Hi @matfiej,
guess those footnotes are added by some feature from your theme or a third-party plugin. So please, try playing around with the setting named “Order” that you will find under: Molongui > Authorship Settings > Author Box > Display. It is set to 11 by default. I’d say you should increase it to 21 or above, to make the author box get displayed below those footnotes.
Please let us know if this helps.
