In reply to: WP Needs Better Support SystemA few cents thrown into the mix (albeit a little late)
I will say in no uncertain terms, that I often use o/s scripts/software, and WordPress’s community is hands down the most responsive to helping one another. I certainly do not subscribe to the notion that
Even services you get for free should, ideally, provide some kind of guaranteed support.
Free is free. Doesn’t matter what the case is. Offering guaranteed support for a free service is impossible, from where I stand (sit).
But do know, there is a mail list for asking for paid support, or to hire someone to fix/adjust/fill in need here services.

In reply to: Closing QuotesI doubt that there are closing quotes. That requires a little more CSS than normal, and doesn’t lend itself to dynamic content.

In reply to: Any known conflicts with DB backup plugin?I haven’t looked at what may have been upgraded on the site, but the plugin used to work. I did upgrade it to the newer version in August, and the mentioned a few weeks ago that they had stopped getting their backups. I tried uploading an older version of the plugin, but to no avail.
Anyone know if there are any database tables for the plugin I could try deleting?

It really is theme dependant on what you add to your CSS.

In reply to: listing posts in archives by categoryI’m working on a plugin to accomplish this, but alas, my PHP skills are weak at best, and wrote my original code using the yet to be released version of WP. I’m working on updating that to work with 2.0.4.
