In reply to: Customization QuestionThat generally is defined by the theme Template_Hierarchy outlines the hierarchy the category view (as others). Check your theme to see if you have a category.php or archive.php. If not, you will need to create one that outputs the way you want.
Templates and Template_Tags will be good sources for that process.

If you pay for the hosting, you need to check with your host to see if they’ve reverted to an old backup or something. OTherwise, unless you’ve manually changed your database, WP wouldn’t revert on its own.
If it’s a wordpress.com issue, you need to contact feedback via your admin panel.

In reply to: Images in postsYou are using the thumbnail. I haven’t used the image upload much myself, but if you look at the non-rich text editor version, you can double check that. All you need to do is eliminate the .thumbnail part of the /yourimage.thumbnail.jpg path.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m as big a mac fan as you’ll ever meet. It’s simply a case of at what point do misc. issues infringe on the nature of this forum, which is WP support. To that end, know it’s quite easy to set up a local install of WP on your mac. I’d also suggest looking at some of the tools available from the open source community for your blogging and web needs. I’m sure a search of the forums for Mac text editor, FTP will return several threads discussing what’s out there.
Also, I’d start doing some reading on using the included APP Garage Band for podcasting, and you could even use the inlcuded iMovie for doing some Vlogging if you were so inclined.
Also know there’s a slight bug in Safari that prevents the quick tags (not sure about rich text editor) from working and are disabled for Safari, so if you need those functions, you’ll want to use FireFox or Camino to blog.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Comments ProblemYes you can delete a user. You could also require users to use your contact form to register, then manually add them as a user via the admin panel. Then there’s an option to require registered and logged in to comment.
I see you get a lot of comments, is that why you are not simply moderating all comments?

In reply to: wrong timestampYou say a day off, exactly 24 hours, or something different. Did you set the time difference in the options page? WP uses UTC time, then you can set a difference. But depending on where people are in relation to the time set on the blog, it may effect the time stamp.

In reply to: Shuttle Press?To my knowledge, it won’t be in 2.1, at least fully implemented. You may see some aspects, but the admin area won’t get attention until 2.2 or beyond.
