Hi there.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
I navigated to your form and filled in the donation form, including the billing address, and it worked properly for me. You can see it here:
You must ensure you are filling in all required fields, otherwise, PayPal will not work.
Please let us know if you have further questions or need additional assistance!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] First form not workingHi there.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
I’m happy to know the donations are working on your site! I noticed that you are using the multi-step form, and it does not include a link to the donor dashboard.
As long as you don’t have this page on your site, you should be good to go.
Please let us know if you have further questions or need additional assistance!
Hi, @kalfimov.
I’m glad you reached out.
I investigated this issue a little further by doing the following:
- I created a new install using GiveWP 2.33.0
- Then, I created a new legacy form and made a donation on it
- Installed and activated the Elementor plugin
- Updated GiveWP to 3.0.1
- Made sure the 2023 theme is active
- Accessed the form again
It turns out that it worked for me and I could not see the issue you described.
If I missing something, can you give me some guidance to replicate the problem? For example, create a form from here, select that specific settings, and so on. This can give me the ability to replicate the problem and, therefore, ask the dev team to provide a fix for it if that’s the case.
Your success with online donations is our number one priority. Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

Hi, @hidiehh.
Glad you reached out.
I was able to replicate this quickly. Our team is now aware of the issue as I created this bug report: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/givewp-30-matomo-google-analytics-plugin-throws-a-fatal-error
I’ve added this ticket to the internal commenting system so that you’ll be notified when there’s a fix. I don’t have a timeline for this at the moment, but our team is already testing solutions for it.
Let me know if you have any questions. Have a good day!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Donation pageHi, @wealthy.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
That is possible by defining the GIVE_SLUG constant in your wp-config.php file.
This article explains how to do that: https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/give-php-constants/Hope it helps!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Change Button TextsHi, @derdavemann.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
Changing text on your website can be a challenge. That’s why we created this tutorial that explains how to do it here https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/translating-give/translating-givewp-with-loco-translate/#modify-the-wording-using-loco-translate.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] PayPal StandardHi, @nimbus2006.
I’m glad you reached out.
Moving your account to PayPal Donations should not affect donations coming from Japan, as long as your PayPal account is in the US, for example.
About standard and donation transactions, I can clarify.
Some organizations are allowed to collect donations using PayPal and pay less taxes. For it, they need to submit some documents to PayPal and get approved. When they are approved, they can use the Donation transaction type.
On the other hand, any other organization that did not submit the paperwork to PayPal and was not approved, need to use the Standard Transaction option.
Please let us know if you have further questions or need additional assistance!
Hi, @hermanese.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
You see your name and email because you are logged in. Your donors, who will not be logged in, they will see empty fields and will need to fill in their personal information.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Donors DeleteHi, @mohsinaliwpdev.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
The image was not attached here, so I need your help to understand what happened. Can you clarify if you used the new view or the legacy view? If you used the new view, can you try it on the legacy view? You can activate it by navigating to donations > donor > switch to legacy view on the top right corner.
Let me know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
Hi, @azael2k.
I’m glad you reached out.
We’ve investigated it and we found that you’ve uncovered an edge-case issue with our Donor Dashboard feature. What is happening is that some strings need to be included in the translation files. Generating the translation files is an automatic process, so most likely we will need to tweak it a bit so it includes the Donor Dashboard strings.
I’ve escalated this to our development team so they can work on a fix. You can follow up on the progress of the fix here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/the-donor-dashboard-should-be-translatable-1.
We are actively tracking user issues to make sure our dev team is aware of them and can get them fixed. You can use the link to check in for updates or to provide additional details of your own.
Give the post above a look, and let me know if you would like me to add any additional details. I want to ensure your need is as accurately reflected as possible, and I’m happy to include an internal note to our teams with any specific information you would like them to have.
While we work on a fix, feel free to message us if you have further questions or need any additional assistance!
