    Hi, @pixelshrink.

    Glad you reached out.

Are they both GiveWP components? Or is this rename component from a third-party service? Do you have links to the pages where we can see the issue happening? I’m happy to check if we can provide some custom CSS for you.

Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi, @michaelsliter.

    Glad you reached out.

I noticed you have some premium plugins. In this case, could you reach out via Priority Support here: https://givewp.com/priority-support/.

Our team will happily help you.

I do apologize for my slow turnaround here. Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi, @samirwp.

I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.

The biggest contributor to slow load times is the fact that GiveWP has to interface with the payment gateways to load the fields for payment. There’s no getting around that, and it’s loading directly from payment gateways. So the speed of the request is totally reliant on how far your server is from payment gateway servers and how busy their server is.

Also, you need to make sure your theme is not conflicting with GiveWP in a way that it prevents the form from loading correctly.

You can optimize your server to reduce the overall speed reduction.

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!

    Hi, @sakuyaslove.

For now, we do not have a way to support splitting the donation amount between Stripe accounts. I’ll pass the feedback to the product development team, though.

Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.

    Hi, @cosmicjamie.

    Glad you reached out.

So, what you are looking for here is to accept the donations using GiveWP but all the payment to run through WooCommerce? If that’s what you are looking for, I’m afraid it’s not possible. Currently, using the Upsell add-on you can accept donations during the payment in your store, but you do not have an entire form there.

Although we do not have this feature out of the box, it would be exciting and valuable to understand how it would work for you and improve your workflow, so the product development team has some insights into how it would behave.

Also, is there any workaround that you are using? It would be good to hear from you about that too, and what this feature would allow you to do. All ideas are appreciated, and I’m happy to share your insights with the product development team so that they can discuss the feasibility of this feature.

I hope it clarifies, and looking forward to hearing back from you!

Hi, @askwpgirl. Thanks for this. I’ll loop in the dev team to take a look at the PHP compatibility, too.

    Hi, @sallyinstc.

    Glad you reached out.

This error would happen when GiveWP cannot open and use certain folders from your server. To fix it you can reinstall GiveWP and it should do the trick.

You can download GiveWP from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/give.

After you download it, go back to your site’s dashboard, click on Plugins > Add New > Upload plugin, and upload the zip file(s) you downloaded. Activate it, and you are done! 🙂

Before taking any steps for troubleshooting or updating, I highly recommend taking a good backup of the site you can confidently restore from. Having a backup of your site is essential to a solid workflow, and will allow you to restore to a previous version of the site if you run into any issues. You can read more about our top recommendations for taking a backup here: https://givewp.com/backup-for-faster-troubleshooting/

I do apologize for my slow turnaround on this one. Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi, @ferylee.

    Glad you reached out.

The GiveWP plugin was designed to be a all-in-one donation platform. It means that it was structured to collect user information and money. We do not have a feature that allows you to vote for projects right now.

    Hi all!

What @midihead said is 100% correct. In specific scenarios where you have GiveWP + WooCommerce, the WP CLI might break.

We are tracking this issue here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/pdf-receipts-add-on-breaks-wp-cli-on-certain-servers.

As soon as a fix for it is released, we will update the feedback site to reflect it.

While we work on a fix, feel free to message us if you have further questions or need any additional assistance!

    Hi, @odiliaboost.

    Glad you reached out.

SEPA – Direct Debit is part of our Stripe premium add-on, and we are not allowed to support paid services here. However, as you are a paid user, you can reach out to Priority Support here: https://givewp.com/priority-support. Our support team will be happy to help.

Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.

    Hi, @askwpgirl.

    Glad you reached out.

We’ve investigated it and we found that you’ve uncovered an edge-case issue with our GiveWP plugin. What is happening is that the receipt shortcode does not load inside the auto-generated success page IF you use Elementor to edit it.

I’ve escalated this to our development team so they can work on a fix. You can follow up on the progress of the fix here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/auto-generated-success-page-cannot-be-edited-using-elementor.

We are actively tracking user issues to make sure our dev team is aware of them and can get them fixed. You can use the link to check in for updates or to provide additional details of your own.

Give the post above a look, and let me know if you would like me to add any additional details. I want to ensure your need is as accurately reflected as possible, and I’m happy to include an internal note to our teams with any specific information you would like them to have.

Meanwhile, the workaround you shared is the best one, to be honest. Create a new page in WordPress for Donation confirmation and update GiveWP settings to use this page, so you can edit it with Elementor.

    Hi, @juliarrr.

    Glad you reached out.

To check this possible issue, I tried to follow your steps as close as possible. Here is what I did:

    1 – I create a local subdomain multisite

2 – I installed GiveWP globally and then activated it individually two subsites

3 – I used the default WP theme

4 – I create a donation form in each subsite

5 – I made a donation on each donation form

    6 – I created a paged and inserted the multi-form goal block

7 – It loaded as expected:

Also, when I check on the front end, it also works:

Based on my tests, it should be something specific to your site. I’ll be happy to dig in, but I need some clarification about steps to replicate the issue on a fresh install. Are you able to provide me with that steps?

Your success with online donations is our number one priority. Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi, @hasanshofan.

I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.

The GiveWP plugin was designed in a way that we can have multiple translations for the same form using WPML, however, we do not have a way to keep them using the same ID to use the same received amount.

I’ve added you as a voter for this feature here https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/sync-forms-data-between-wpml-translations.

We are actively tracking user feedback to understand further the needs you all have. You can use the link to check in for updates or to provide additional details of your own. I would encourage you to comment on that post about the impact this would have on your organization. Information like that is always helpful for our teams to see. I’ve also linked your ticket internally, so if this feature request is developed, we can reach back out to update you.

Give the post above a look, and let me know if there are any additional details you would like for me to add. I want to ensure your need is as accurately reflected as possible, and I’m happy to include an internal note to our teams with any specific information you would like them to have.

    Now, a possible workaround!

What you can do is disable the goal and the amount raised for both forms, and then, you embed the forms into pages using their shortcode and then use the multi-form goal shortcode/block to display the goal that will be the same for them. It might sound confusing, but here is a video that explains it and gives you a tutorial about how to do it: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/c0fO2uVztS8

The password for the video is: multi-form

    Hi, @forautism.

Glad you wrote in. I can help here.

From our experience, the “This organization’s page is broken” error has a few possible causes.

    1. The PayPal account is not active to receive payments. If you have followed these instructions to connect the PayPal Donations payment gateway to PayPal, then usually a message to this effect will be displayed at Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways > PayPal > PayPal Donations (tab). If you would, please navigate to that page and take a screenshot and send it over.
    2. The PayPal account is set up to receive payments, but not “donations.” If this is the case, then you can change the PayPal Transaction Type to Standard Transaction in Donations -> Settings -> Payment Gateways -> Paypal -> Paypal Donations as shown in this screenshot:
      Screenshot-2023-10-10-at-4-38-00-PM.png
Note: be sure to scroll down and click “Save Changes” after making that change.
    3. Something went awry during the process of connecting the PayPal Donations payment gateway to your PayPal account. In this case, disconnecting and reconnecting usually resolve the issue. Be sure to connect using the primary PayPal account login email address and password. Connecting with a “user” on the PayPal account that isn’t the account owner will not work.

Sometimes there’s actually an account issue that requires contacting PayPal in order to resolve it. However, let’s make sure we eliminate any of the other possible causes by attempting the items above first.
