The author of the Download Monitor finally released his new version.
Recently we discussed that at http://wordpress.org/support/topic/new-version-of-downlaod-monitor?replies=2 so currently we are working on supporting it. The new version and the older one are not compatible and we don’t know yet how far this incompatibility goes. We will let you know about our new updates.So far you can use our plugin with the old version of Download Manager which is still available at http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/download-monitor.3.3.6.zip

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We have done some further debugging and experimenting with that option. We fixed that bug and will soon release an update of the plugin with that correction.
However, there is one not very optimistic note about this. Unfortunately IE still has problem with the displaying the files in browser that were marked as “masked”, so we decided to force users download them when it is discovered that the user browser is IE. Downloading file works just fine.
Also, is it critical for you not displaying files in the browser? If not, then you can use the “force_download” attribute in the our short code with any value, e.g.,
[email-download download_id=”4″ contact_form_id=”4″ force_download=”true”]
In this case, the downloading will be force in every browser.Forum: Plugins

Unfortunately we can’t see what exactly happen in your case and are not able to check if our code is able to read the file on your server.
So now we only can suggest to change for a while the settings of your php, in php.ini file.
You need to change the following options there to
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE
display_errors = OnThis might help us in some way to debug the issue.

If you want to modify the text of your email, you should do it using admin interface of the installed plugin, #9.Email Template, at: http://<wordpress installation>/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=email-before-download
You can also find those setting on the left hand side of your admin interface under “Settings > Email Before Download.

Thank you for using our plugin.
Since all fields in the CF7 are dynamic (even email field) we decided to separately collect only email inputs, assuming that this field will always be present in the form that you create (Since the plugin is called Email Before Download, we felt this was a safe assumption). So the rest of the fields from your form is packed into xml format and saved in the posted_data field of the exported CSV. It is currently left it up to our plugin users to decide how to parse that information from that xml.
In our future releases we might consider adding a tool/feature that will let you to parse the xml doc too.Forum: Plugins

Do you still have issue with the IE9?
We have just tested it in IE9 and it worked the same as everywhere else.
Could let us know what type the file you try to download, its size, plugin settings and maybe some other relevant information that might be useful for our testing and debugging?Forum: Plugins
