Does not work with new Download Monitor

    Hi,

    The plugin does not seem to work with the new version of Download Monitor. I tried with the version that you have linked to on the main page, but apparently they have re-written the plugin, which is why the problem is occuring I think. I don’t know if its happening to me only. The page didn’t load completely when I used the shortcode : [email-download download_id=”1″ contact_form_id=”2″]. Is it because the shortcode of the download monitor plugin has changed to [Download ID=”1″] (Without an underscore) ?

    Anyway, if someone’s having the same problem, you can fix it by installing the older version of Download Monitor from here : http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/download-monitor.3.3.6.zip

    It fixed mine. 🙂

    Thanks sknepal. I encountered the same challenge. I reverted to the prior version of Download Monitor as you suggested and Email Before Download is now working.

    Thanks for letting us know about your issues.

    The author of the Download Monitor finally released his new version.
    Recently we discussed that at http://wordpress.org/support/topic/new-version-of-downlaod-monitor?replies=2 so currently we are working on supporting it. The new version and the older one are not compatible and we don’t know yet how far this incompatibility goes. We will let you know about our new updates.

    So far you can use our plugin with the old version of Download Manager which is still available at http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/download-monitor.3.3.6.zip
    Sorry for the inconveniences. We are working hard on fixing our plugin so it is up to date and compatible.
