Hi there,
Thanks for checking on this. The listing-added email template can’t be overridden from a theme or child theme. The plugin deliberately loads this template only from its own folder, so a copy in your child theme gets skipped wherever you put it. (For other templates, overrides go in
your-child-theme/business-directory/, without thetemplates/folder.)This template is the new listing notification sent to the admin, and its content isn’t editable in the settings. The email sent to the person who submitted the listing is separate, and you can edit it in Directory > Settings > Email.
If you want to customize the admin email anyway, you can replace its content with a filter. Here’s a starting point you can add with a plugin like WPCode. It loads your own copy from
your-child-theme/business-directory/email/listing-added.tpl.php:add_filter( 'wpbdp_template_vars', function( $vars, $template_name ) { if ( 'email/listing-added' === $template_name ) { $GLOBALS['my_bd_listing_added_vars'] = $vars; } return $vars; }, 10, 2 ); add_filter( 'wpbdp_render_email/listing-added', function( $content ) { $file = get_stylesheet_directory() . '/business-directory/email/listing-added.tpl.php'; if ( file_exists( $file ) && ! empty( $GLOBALS['my_bd_listing_added_vars'] ) ) { $content = wpbdp_render_page( $file, $GLOBALS['my_bd_listing_added_vars'], false ); } return $content; } );Please test this on a staging site first. Custom code is outside what we can fully support, but this should get you started.
Hey @jcollier
Could you share a screenshot of the button you mentioned? Thanks
Hey @mieltex
The forum is meant only for the free plugin. Since you are using the Pro version, please open a nwe ticket over here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/
Thanks
Hey @lenamoreau
Yes, for a test like the one you shared, where the final result changes based on the user’s answers, you would need the Premium version with the Business license or higher.
The kind of setup in your example matches an outcome quiz. Formidable’s Quiz Maker add-on can automatically score quizzes and show different results based on the outcome, and that add-on is available with the Business license or above.
Also, conditionals is a Premium feature, so it is not included in the free Lite version. If you have further question, please open a new ticket here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/.
Hey @jamesgreat

- On the free version, you can use Stripe Lite. You can check out the features you have access here:https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/stripe-forms/#kb-what-is-the-difference-between-stripe-lite-and-stripe-add-on
- PayPal is a pro add-on only available on the Pro version.
Best.

Hey @cholmes84
We apologize you experience this. Can you send us an email directly to support@formidableforms.com? So we can help you with this.
Thanks.
Hey @anevins . We take accessibility seriously and we apprecite your time and effort in sharing this with us.
I escalated this topic to our dev lead. He shared the following:
SC 1.3.1 – I created a new issue to resolved this on our end.
SC 1.3.5 – For email fields, setting the autocomplete attribute is a Pro setting. They can set this manually by updating their
[input]shortcode in their custom HTML as well in Lite. As for name fields, I’m bringing it up in a discussion with the rest of the leadership team. In Pro, you can set name field autocomplete options in Text fields or use[input]shortcodes manually in Lite.SC 1.4.1, SC 1.4.3, SC 1.4.11 – I’m pretty aware of our contrast errors. This should be possible to fix by customizing their style, but we should consider more accessible defaults or an accessible style template.
SC 3.3.2, SC 3.3.3 – Yeah, this is mostly up to the customer to customize themselves at the moment. Since the formats are often manually entered and can be pretty complex (using any regex), it’s tough to really address this universally.
Thank you you again for sharing all this information with us. If there is anything else we can do to make Formidable Forms more accessible, please share it with us.
Of course, please let us know what you find. Have wonderful day ahead.
Hey @annaam
Thank you for reaching out about this.
Our dev team shared the following:
It just looks like it’s querying for entry data for specific post IDs. They’re likely loading data for many entries that have an associated post – from using a Create Post action.
These queries should all be possible to cache so they don’t happen on every page load. If they could set up object caching, it would make a big difference.
You can reach out to ghosting support team and ask about setting up an object caching service for your website.
Hey @victoriei101 Can you create a new ticket here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/ about this ? WordPress forums are only for support of the lite plugin not for presalese question of the Pro plugin.
