In reply to: Text widget will not create link on mobile deviceIt’s working now, though I do not understand why. I changed nothing else… went to lunch… came back and refreshed the page… it now showed a link on my Android device.

I just found this thread from year ago. This work-around did not work for me.

Workaround:
– deactivate Google Analytics
– Authenticate with Dropbox
– activate Google AnalyticsWhat website host(s) are giving everybody the “wrong token” error? I’m using BackWPup on Host Gator and Go Daddy without problem, but my site that is hosted with Ipage gives the “wrong token” error.
Has anyone found a fix for this?
The site in the above post, that has the error message, is hosted at iPage. I have a backup of the site with the same plugins hosted with Hostgator, and it authenticates just fine.

…and my job doesn’t start when I click ‘Run Now’. It only starts after I click another option on the menu. (i.e. Settings, Logs, Add a new job, etc.)

I set my backup to also check and optimize the database. That got it working again.

Are you using any type of plugin for CACHE? What helped me is I started to search for answers related to the slideshow not working. (imagerotator.swf file) One thing led to another, and it got fixed.
Hope you figure it out.
I just fixed my other site. The problem was with the WP Super Cache plugin.
– I disabled caching in the plugin. (which is activated at this point)
– I then de-activated the plugin.
– I then had to delete the plugin.(I had previously removed all of the Super Cache code from .htaccess)
I was able to only fix one of my sites with this, but maybe it will help somebody.
I found that my .htaccess file was not writable due to some WP Super Cache code that was in there. I deleted that code and the file became writable. I saved my permalinks structure, tried the NextGen Plugin Check – and all worked.
