Explanation: before i open this topic i have contacted SG support after their troubleshoot they said ‘we disabled Download Manager plugin and site is working fine’ i went and checked what is happening and found out the license has expired, after i have renew for one more year the site speed was back to normal.
I have the old versions of plugin i might compare them but i m not pro with codes, i assume something remotelly is done when the license has expired, due to no evidence this remains a fairy tale.
Also after i got a mail from your site forgot what it was, i have reply you with some bad words, then you released a update to the plugin and i m afraid to upgrade who knows what you did to harm me.
P.s. not related to this plugin i know there are other plugin developers who are damaging my business and search engines do not display my site, there is for sure other people in the same boat i hope you know everyone that the plugin developers can be paid so they will damage with weird codes your business so no one will find your site ever.

I installed again your plugin recent then i observed again weird updates and i found out that is was blocking wordpress rest API and after this i removed your plugin again.

I will join you and say that i have the same problem, this happened after 2 last updates sometimes the post is updated with some error.
Because my site is a paid membership site i suspect that my posts are forwarded somewhere that is why it takes so long, hope i am wrong. 😀
P.s. After i will make my forums free to view thinking to buy the pro version.Well i will look further on my own as everything is possible, thanks for try to help.

I used the ws plugin s2member files dir filter to protect the entire wp-uploads directory
This mean he was able to protect /uploads/ directory with some kind of filter.
PS: i will try that plugin but if he not show posts in category or subcategory then not useful for my site.

That is not very good as Collapsing Categories anyway it was fixed long ago by changing permalink from custom one.
Can you help me with other thing? I was looking from long ago to limit access to WP-Content or uploads folder using s2member if someone access that folder he will be redirected to registration page i found a topic but he did not post the codes on how he did.

I did not test before move with alternate cron enabled that is why not know.
If your hosting is limiting Cron jobs then the only solution would be to move to CPanel hosting so you have unlimited Cron jobs.Yes you are right, i think is possible wpForo have his own category but that URI is not used will be easier to protect by that URI will have to ask the devs of wpForo on how to enable that category link to be used.
PS: i found why my site was slow it was Collapsing Categories plugin in combination with custom permalink,strange thing.
OK the problem was fixed after moved from Godaddy managed WP it is possible related with WP Cron not sure because on managed WordPress WP Cron is limited which is very bad for a big site.
As you can see no reply from them, i have log in with .htpaswd protection and it still appears there as soon as i log in so it is something with their plugin some issue because i have enabled debug and when this IP appears there in debug log are generated PHP notices related to 3 different plugins their files something related with server and port.
I hope that this plugin is not causing on purpose such thing so we buy license key to scan our sites because i have site lock and nothing found so it seems strange to me.
Try disable Wodfence and install other type of plugin see if happen again.Forum: Plugins

When i try to block Wordfence say it is whitelisted but it is not there in options.
