Hi there!
If these approaches do not work for you, it’s likely that you are running into a conflict.
The best way to determine this is to:- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
This is best done on a staging site. That’s a copy of your live site, so you can test things out without making changes to your actual site. Some hosting companies offer a staging site service within their hosting plans. If yours does not, there is a great free plugin that will allow you to build a complete staging site with a few button clicks: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shorten product URLHi there!
For reference, we have a detailed documentation document on this subject here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/removing-product-product-category-or-shop-from-the-urls/, so I won’t bore you by repeating all of the info in this message, but don’t hesitate to write back if you have any questions about it!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Integration of a personal calendarHey there Jonas! I recommend having a look at the Booking Filters extension that can be used with the Bookings plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/booking-filters-for-woocommerce/. It’ll allow your customers to filter the bookable dates.
Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Wrong calculation of included taxes in cartHi there!
The best place to ask this is on the GitHub repo: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce. If it’s indeed marked as a bug by the developers, it will already be in the best place for a resolution.
Thanks for being a part of the community!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce install errorHi there!
Can you try deactivating, then deleting the WooCommerce Admin plugin? Once that’s done, can you please install it again? That should clear up your error.
If it doesn’t, the problem is likely caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Thank you page option not appearing in featuresHi there Rosa, just to clear something up that I didn’t get out of your question: did you install the Custom Thank You Pages plugin? If so, we kindly ask that you contact us at WooCommerce.com so we can get you connected to the developer.
If you haven’t, then you’re likely looking for something that doesn’t exist on your website. You’d have to install the plugin for the feature to appear.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Selling By Unit And WeightHi there!
You could achieve this through variable products, I think that would be the easiest way to achieve what you’re looking to do. The downside to that would be that you can’t let customers specify the exact weight they want, you would have to do that for them.
Alternatively, you can make the weight based and the quantity based products individual products, then combine them with a plugin such as Product Bundles.
Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!
Hi there!
There’s no setting for this in the default functionalities of WooCommerce, so it’ll have to be addressed through a plugin or custom code. I’ve done a bit of searching for you, and I’ve found the following instructions that may help you out further: https://wpmayor.com/create-private-woocommerce-category-easy-way/
Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product Variation Can’t ShowingHi there!
This issue looks like it’s either a problem with the theme having trouble, or the variations not having been set up as per the documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product
The best way to determine whether it’s a theme (or even potentially an issue with one of the active plugins) that’s causing this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Order updated remarks bug after updated to latest version 4.3.0This is very likely due to a plugin conflict. The order note that you are seeing there is not default to WooCommerce core, so I highly recommend looking into which plugin is adding that behavior. Once you’ve figured that out, it’s best to get in touch with the developer of said plugin directly, as they will need to adjust their code to resolve the issue.

- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
