Hi @sriharshan,
Thanks for sharing the link. I’ve had a look at your site in Google Chrome, and I don’t see any such behaviour from the Chat plugin chat bubble. Are you still encountering this issue?
Thanks,

Thanks @alid15. If you’d like to use the WordPress plugin, you’ll need to remove the code you added manually to your site, activate the plugin, and go through the setup process. This will automatically deploy the code to your site.
As this is support forum is focussed on the WordPress plugin specifically, we can’t really advise on installations where the code was added manually (i.e. outside of the plugin).
Thanks,

Hi @mjunaidkhan,
Thanks for getting in touch. Would you be able to share the URL of the site where the plugin is installed, so we can take a look, and debug? Thanks!

Hi @alid15,
I’ve had a look at your site and the code seems to have been deployed correctly. Can you provide any more details?

Hi @samuelng527,
When I looked again, the rule was now in the file: https://theoldco.net/eazea/wp-content/uploads/fusion-styles/08c5bd452cd7b8d39c572e47d83d897a.min.css
…so I guess there’s something about this framework that cycles the CSS filenames, or something. In any case, I would just search through the files for the rule “.widget.facebook_like iframe”, and remove/modify it as required.
Hope this helps!

Hi @mrshenwei,
The Messenger app sends push notifications by default (assuming you’ve allowed notifications on your device for the app), unless you have an app installed on your Page to handle messaging (in which case messages will not generate push notifications).
Hope this clarifies,

Hi @tgross9859,
Can you remove the code you manually added for the plugin. This isn’t necessary for the WordPress plugin, as the plugin will add it automatically.
Thanks,

Hi @samuelng527,
The reason that this is happening is that you have custom CSS rules interfering with the rendering of the plugin.
Specifically, in the file: https://theoldco.net/eazea/wp-content/uploads/fusion-styles/01d34dd9323106feefa08a3fa3bd9055.min.css
…you have a rule for “.widget.facebook_like iframe” which is overriding the plugin’s width (forcing it to 100%). This is causing many, if not all of the display issues you are seeing.Removing that rule will fix the display of the plugin.
Hope this helps,

Hi @dominikkwolczak,
Using the WordPress plugin there is no manual code deployment required at any point. When activated (and set up), the plugin will add the relevant code automatically to your site.
Hope this clarifies!

Hi @alid15,
There’s no need to copy-and-paste any code into your site’s markup. It will be added automatically by the WordPress plugin!
Hope this helps,

I’ve had a closer look at your code, and you seem to have the code for the plugin installed multiple times. This is likely why you’re seeing odd behaviour.
I have no idea how you’ve done this, but I would recommend removing any code relating to the plugin you may have copied and pasted into your site’s markup, and also disable the Chat plugin option on any additional plugins (such as WooCommerce) which also carry it. You really only need to have the WordPress Chat plugin installed and active. This should solve your issue.
All the best,

Hi @unanswered,
I’ve had a look at your website, and tested the plugin. I don’t see any behaviour related to refreshing. Can you clarify in more details what the problem is, and under what circumstances it occurs?
Thanks,
