Hi @tgross9859,
This is odd. I can see that the code is installed, but it seems like some of the style rules are being over-ridden, and I’m not sure why. Can I confirm that you installed the Chat plugin via adding the WordPress plugin to your WordPress instance?
Thanks,

Hi @tgross9859,
Those seem like errors with Chrome extensions – but we’ll be happy to take a look if you can share the URL to your site?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Chat not workingHi @mkhairy,
I’ve had a look at your site, and the code for the Chat plugin doesn’t appear to be installed there. Can I ask you to re-run the setup process again, from the Chat plugin settings page in your WordPress admin dashboard.
Thanks,

Hi @anadavosagency,
Can I ask you to go through the set up process from scratch again, from your WordPress admin dashboard? From inspecting your site, it appears as if the full SDK code has not been deployed.
Thanks,

Glad we were able to solve it 🙂
All the best,

Hi @dominikkwolczak,
Can you share the URL to the affected site, so we can debug?

Hi @paulknorrnl,
Can I ask you to go through the installation process from the beginning again. Also, please check your Page’s settings to ensure that messaging is enabled.
Please do let us know if this solves your issue,

Hi @aaronliew,
This has nothing to do with desktop or mobile, but rather to do with whether you’re logged into Facebook or not in that browser.
Check your Page settings for age restrictions as well. If there are any active restrictions on your Page, the Chat plugin will not be available to logged-out users.
Hope this helps,

Hi @allynagle9,
I’ve taken a look at your site and I can’t see the plugin code on there. Did you remove it?
Can I suggest that you go through the set up process again? If you’re still encountering the issue, please ensure that the Facebook Page you’re connecting the plugin to is published, and does not have any age/location restrictions applied. The Page admin can view/control this in the Page’s settings. If the Page is unpublished, or has any active restrictions, the plugin will not show up at all for logged-out users.
Let us know if this solves your issue!

Hi @fhansiwadon603,
You can modify your Page’s profile pic via the Page itself. Simply click on the pic to upload a new one.
Hope this helps!

Hi @crmpicco, @mrshenwei, and @cyril56610,
Facebook Chat plugin offers a way to connect a chat bubble on your site, to your Facebook business Page inbox. In order to utilise the chat plugin, you will need to be running a business Page on Facebook. If you haven’t already set up a Page on Facebook for your business, it’s easy to create one. In the standard FB interface, simply navigate to the “Pages” option, and click on “Create new Page”. Once you have a set up a Page, you will be able to select it as part of the Chat plugin setup process.
This will enable you to give your business a presence on Facebook, as well as use the native inbox features to communicate with your customers, both through the FB Page, and the plugin 🙂
Hope this clarifies. Please let us know if you have any further questions,

Hi @bururu,
1. This isn’t possible at the moment, but I’ll definitely pass this feedback along to the team.
2. I guess you could increase the z-index of the GDPR box until it is greater than that of the plugin?
