When The Official Facebook Chat Plugin is enabled and you slightly resize the width of the page, it causes a weird border to display on-screen and disables the nav bar from working (see border on left and bottom side here – https://imgur.com/LgPU0yR).

Here are the errors I’m seeing in the console:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://liecbddmkiiihnedobmlmillhodjkdmb/js/intercom-link-expand-loader.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://liecbddmkiiihnedobmlmillhodjkdmb/js/content.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
    htVcJLaGsWm.js?_nc_x=O2guDIC3b5y:53 ErrorUtils caught an error:

Service workers can only progress forward.

Subsequent non-fatal errors won’t be logged; see https://fburl.com/debugjs.

    Hi @tgross9859,

Those seem like errors with Chrome extensions – but we’ll be happy to take a look if you can share the URL to your site?

    Thanks,

    I just reenabled the plugin – https://dashmedicalspa.com

If you decrease the page width you’ll see the FB Messenger icon move into the top left and the page issues occur (random border + broken nav bar). Thanks!

    Hi @tgross9859,

This is odd. I can see that the code is installed, but it seems like some of the style rules are being over-ridden, and I’m not sure why. Can I confirm that you installed the Chat plugin via adding the WordPress plugin to your WordPress instance?

    Thanks,

Yes, confirmed it’s running via the plugin. I also tried manually adding the code after the <body> tag and ran into the same issue.

Hi @facebook were you able to dig in here and identify the issue? Thanks

    Hi @tgross9859,

Can you remove the code you manually added for the plugin. This isn’t necessary for the WordPress plugin, as the plugin will add it automatically.

    Thanks,

@facebook there isn’t any manually added code on the page. When we saw the plugin was causing a conflict, at that point I had disabled the plugin and tried adding the code manually, but we were still experiencing the same issues. So I then removed the manual code and now it’s solely being shown through the plugin.
