In reply to: [VS Event List] Adjusting the columns and location formattingOne follow up. I went in and adjusted the column widths. There’s some padding going on between the two columns. What CSS is that please? I would like to lessen it.
Edit: Ok there may not be padding there. After I adjusted the columns and made the meta wider, that fixed the issue with the CITY/STATE I mentioned earlier. (So having the More Info be the link to the venue will probably work.) Now that I tweaked the columns the padding between the two is gone so I think my above question is redundant.

In reply to: [VS Event List] Adjusting the columns and location formattingThanks for the info on #1!
As far as your question goes, I guess I was trying to add more functionality to the plugin. I do use the “More Info” link, but not for the location. I use the More Info to take you to the registration page. I was hoping if I could convert the location field to being a link, then if a person wanted to website where the event takes place to see where they are located, etc, that would make it all cleaner looking and I wouldn’t have to add a link in the main description of the event.
I did try a variation of making this work by converting the More Info link to the location’s website, then inside the location field add the city/state to the end of the venue name where the event takes place, but that field doesn’t like any html at all and as a result it didn’t look good visually.

In reply to: [VS Event List] Adjusting the columns and location formattingSorry forgot to mention that I’m using the shortcode in a page, not the widget.

In reply to: [Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce] Question about plugin functionAh ok, so it’s a feature of Pro. I didn’t realize that. Unfortunately I can’t afford it so I’ll just have to live with what I have. Thanks for the answer!

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Conflict with “Meta Box” plugin@yourownprogrammer, any update on this?
@bearlydoug, I appreciate all the help with this. Yeah, I did a test before your post and found Analytics wasn’t recording, but I think I might have a workaround using a query string on the end of the redirected url. I will test this and see if that works. Then at least on G.A. it will separate that link from everything else.
Thanks for working with me on this today. I needed this to work by Thursday so we’re good. Hope your chewing results in something productive. 😀
@bearlydoug, oh sorry, I misunderstood that bit of your instructions, so just went in and turned it off. I cleared cache and reloaded. It does work now, but it seems to have this slight pause when loading the redirected page. (meta settings is at 0 seconds)
@bearlydoug, Ah ok, well I deactivated it just to be on the safe side and replaced what was there. No change in results, however. :/
@bearlydoug, I assume I also need to deactivate the plugin before doing this?
@bearlydoug, savvy enough to do that, yes. Tell me where to go and what to name it. 🙂
(removed)
Oops, just realized I didn’t include that, my bad, but actually it is on Redirect Options. 🙂
Look closer, I’m not on the meta one. On the right you’ll see “Redirect Options” is highlighted in the admin panel.
@bearlydoug, Everything on that page is already unchecked. :/
