I only auto backup my site once a week, so that means the last 3 times it hasn’t worked for me. (Dec 17, 24, 31)
It’s not showing any backup attempt for the last three weeks, successful or otherwise in that section. So for me, the scheduler kicks in once a week, I get an email saying the backup was made (but with the above error message), and that’s it. It doesn’t save anything anywhere.
I haven’t changed anything on my site like add new plugins or whatever. I had an issue with your plugin a few months ago where it stopped dumping my backups to Dropbox for the same type of problem. It said it backed up but never sent it. I switched it over to FTP and it was working again, till now.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Backup doesn’t workI just realized I have the same issue since the last update. I get an email that claims it was backed up to my FTP server, but when I go there there are no files. I opened the email and it said this at the top:
“UpdraftPlus WordPress backup is complete.
Backup contains: Incomplete
Latest status: The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully”That’s all it tells me. I went in and tried a manual backup as well and it looked like it was creating the file for a long time then that was it, same problem and no files.
I also have access to FTP so went there. I don’t have a “log” sub-directory, and the only log file I have in root is “error_log”, but here’s an odd/interesting thing…
I downloaded it and looked at the last entry so I knew where to look when a new one appeared. I went into the Media section of my site and uploaded a file. It uploaded fine. I then deleted that file and went into a specific Page I have and tried to upload the image through the “Featured Image” link. It then gave me this:
“temp-file.jpg An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later. ”
And it just sat there doing nothing. I went back to the Media section and it showed the file there and claims it’s attached to that Page but it doesn’t show it in the actual Page.
I went back to the error log, but it didn’t record anything for this. It has been recording a Woocommerce error in that file as early as this morning, so I know that file is the main log for everything.
I see all the images in Media, but not when I click on “Featured Image” by the way.
I will keep investigating and will get back with you. Thanks for your time.

Makes sense. I have access to my Cpanel but not sure exactly where I should go to find the log info. What should I look for?
If the error message above says it’s from your plugin, why would another plugin be causing it?

Also, I assume once they find and fix the bug this code will be redundant? If so, will it mess anything up if it’s still in the functions file after updating the plugin that has it working again?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Payment failing (Bad_request: intent_mismatch)I can’t place a number on mine, unfortunately. It’s very infrequent and I can’t even give a ratio to successful transactions to not, but it has happened enough where it started becoming an issue for me.
