Thank you so much for reporting this issue in the beta version of the Envato Elements WordPress plugin.
We have implemented a fix for this issue and it should be released this week. Please let me know if you have any other beta plugin feedback or have any other issues using the plugin.

To uninstall a kit please follow these steps:
1) Go to Elementor > My Templates and delete the imported template.
2) Go to Appearance > Customizer > Custom CSS and remove any imported template CSS code.
3) Go to the media library and delete and imported images.
If there is any trouble removing content from the beta version please reach out on our support email address (listed in the plugin screen) and we can help resolve this with you.

Could you please contact the hosting provider an ask to be upgrade from PHP version 5.4 to PHP version 5.6 or above?
WordPress actually recommends PHP version 7.2 or above ( https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ ) so if the hosting provider can install this for you it would be best.
Before upgrading PHP versions please ensure a full backup of the website has been made.

1) Record the php memory limit in the export file, and alert the user that the memory limit is different on new host (e.g. same way it alerts you when going between PHP versions)
2) Your script could continue to check
memory_get_usage()and report to the user if the memory limit is getting close to all used up. At least the last error message before failing will be something useful like “You used 90% of PHP memory, try to increase PHP memory limit and try again”- This reply was modified 8 years, 4 months ago by dtbaker.

ini_set('memory_limit','512M');to the wp-config.php file and re-ran the import and it worked fine.
