Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress theme not showing up on mobile devicesIf you make changes to your site’s static content (images, css, javascript, etc.), then you need to go to CloudFlare’s Development Mode first (settings->development mode). You can also purge your cache as an additional option in your settings.
“In the mean time I switch off Rocket Loader completely and seems to be showing up on the page and running fine. “
This is what you said & that’s what I responded to.
The Rocket Loader bugs, unfortunately, do take some time to investigate or fix. Rocket Loader is a beta feature, so it does mean that there is still the potential for things to break.
Thanks for letting me know that turning off Rocket Loader has apparently fixed the issue.

In reply to: [W3TC] mod_cloudflare still needed for real ip at server level? The plugin only works at the WordPress commenting level & not the server level. This is not something that can be addressed via a plugin, unfortunately:(
“2) Any special precaution needed when I use Clouflare via W3TC with mod_cloudflare installed?”
The only real area of concern would be that you don’t want to turn Minify options on at both CloudFlare and W3TC (conflicts are very likely to arise & you should only choose one). Other than that…you shouldn’t see any issues. The tips below should help you out a great deal…
I would probably recommend filing that Rocket Loader bug with us so we can take a look at it & turning it off for now.
Seems kind of odd and difficult to check here.
A couple of things/quick questions:
1. Does it require any sort of JavaScript call? If yes, then Rocket Loader might be impacting this (try turning this off).
2. Does it work off of certain IPs?
3. Does the behavior go away if CloudFlare is paused?Hi,
The CloudFlare plugin would resolve this if only happening at the WordPress commenting level (application layer). If server side, however, you would want to install something like mod_cloudflare.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Cloudflare and https sslHi,
The only way to really show your own SSL would be to upload your own SSL to CloudFlare. This does, however, require a Business Level account (200.00 month) to display your cert:( The only other workaround is the subdomain option mentioned.
No idea. Would need actual details sent to us here.
Is it actually causing issues? If yes, please include that in the ticket as well.

In reply to: Website Speed“should i use wp-minify and turn off cloudflare minify?”
I would just choose one or the other. I don’t want to tell you which one to use:) We do know if you use CloudFlare’s minify and W3TC’s minify, for example, that something will likely break.
I haven’t seen any issues at this time with the other plugins…just really trying to say you will likely run into a conflict at some point if you have too many caching plugins running.
Hi,
Do you also have the CloudFlare WordPress Plugin installed?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Website SpeedJust a quick note that you’re probably going to seeing conflicts with that many different caching plugins and minify options. If you turn on minify at CloudFlare as well, for example, you could be having issues down the road.

In reply to: Did CloudFlare ruin my site?Hmm…I can probably get a contact at Dreamhost, if needed. One quick option would be to be signup with us directly (also removes that http://www.limitation).

In reply to: Did CloudFlare ruin my site? Thanks for the clarification.
“Dreamhost became a partner of CloudFlare in April so I enabled it as soon as I learned about it. “
If that is the case, then they can help fix the redirect loop error that is happening when you enable CF from their panel option. The default WordPress config, unless I’m mistaken, has a redirect from http://www.domain.com to domain.com. When activating through a hosting partner, CloudFlare can only proxy CNAMEs, so the domain.com has to be forwarded to http://www.domain for us to proxy that record. That additional rule on your server is what is causing the conflict when you enable CloudFlare.Note: The other account (looks like you have an admin@ and a malc***@ email (blanked out full email) should be closed for the damin@.

In reply to: Did CloudFlare ruin my site?hard to look at without the domain.
Did you signup through a hosting partner and then also signup directly?
This error message indicates that this might be the case:
“”Finishing up. Waiting for your name servers to change to pat.ns.cloudflare.com and rick.ns.cloudflare.com. Please allow up to 24 hours to complete this process (info)”
I have no idea how to even get to the Page Rules interface. Where do I find it? “
Page Rules is an option in the dropdown menu from my websites (settings). I don’t think that is the issue here, however, based on the additional info.
