In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Crashed my site – removed itSince we haven’t heard back from you, we’ll mark this resolved.
@skofgar thanks for letting us know what you tried already! Looking at the cached file, it doesn’t work unless the
resizeparameter is removed:https://i1.wp.com/skofgar.ch/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/2020-10-25-15.19.53.gif?&ssl=1
Can you check your post and see if you changed the original size of the gif in the post editor? If so, remove any size parameters from that image and see if that fixes the issue.
Let us know if you still have this problem and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Image Compare – change size?@edmartin123 thanks for reaching out!
At this time, you’ll need to resize the images before you add them to the Image Compare block. We may add the ability to resize the images in the block in the future, but for now it’s not on our roadmap.
Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything else. Will mark this resolved for now.
Thanks for that screenshot. Can you let me know what site you’re having this problem? Once I have that information, I’ll be better able to help.
If you want it to remain private, can you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?
I’d like to check the dashboard for your account so we can narrow down the problem and get a bug report submitted to the development team.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Pre-Purchase QuestionsThanks for reaching out!
I read somewhere that Jetpack doesnβt work whilst Woocommerce is in Maintenance Mode. I canβt find that reference again. Is that correct? Is there a way around it? Iβm going to be in Maintenance Mode for another few months.
It depends on whether or not your site’s maintenance mode plugin prevents your site from connecting and communicating with our servers.
Where does Jetpack store the data? I canβt find anything about how much storage space is provided, or if I have to purchase my own.
Jetpack Backups are stored on our servers and there’s no storage limits. You can read more about what we backup here:
https://jetpack.com/support/backup/#what-data-is-backed-up
We also have a 30 day refund policy, so you can try it out and get access to our priority email support and we can help with any problems you have with your connection or backups.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything else.
@rhead80 This is an issue on Facebook’s side of things as noted in our GitHub issue my colleague Dan linked to above.
We’ll be monitoring things at that GitHub issues and will update things here once we have more information.
You too! We’ll mark this resolved for now. π
@ashf sorry about that!
Could you contact us via this contact form instead and mention this thread?
Thanks!
@tic_le_kiwi – thanks for reaching out.
Without seeing your site to check, my guess is that those custom theme functions are not supported by our Image CDN. Our Image CDN currently only acts on images in posts and pages, as well as featured images/post thumbnails via the
image_downsizefilter.If you’re having trouble with images in posts/pages, can you let us know your site URL so we can take a closer look?
Otherwise, it sounds like the theme is not compatible with the Image CDN.
Hope that helps!

There are various features in Jetpack that requires that you connect to a WordPress.com user account in order to be fully activated.
Note that WordPress.com accounts are different from the account you use to log into your site. WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org sites are different entities. Visit the following link to learn the differences:
https://wordpress.com/com-vs-org/If you’re prompted to create a WordPress site, that means you’re not logged into the correct WordPress.com account that your Jetpack connection is associated with.
You can see the username of the WordPress.com account you’re connected to under Jetpack -> Dashboard -> scroll down to the Connections section and in the “Account connection” module you’ll see “Connected as [username]”. That’s the username you need to be logged into at WordPress.com.
Go to your account page and check you’re logged into that username and if not, click the “log out” button and log in again using the correct username.
Let us know if you still have this problem and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] multisite backups@elearnnow – thanks for reaching out.
Our Backup service is not compatible with multisite installations, so you would need to find another solution for your client.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack@queen-of-my-kitchen that’s strange! Since it’s not in your modules list, it sounds like your install has some code somewhere disabling that item.
Can you let me know what site you’re having this problem? Once I have that information, I’ll be better able to help.
