Just note that free Akismet keys are for personal, non-commercial sites only. If your site has advertising or affiliate links, sells products or services, solicits donations or sponsorships, or is in any way related to a business or educational organization – your site is considered commercial and needs to have a paid plan.

They should already be translated for many languages, including French: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/jetpack/
What language do you have your site set as at Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard? That’s the language Jetpack will use for your emails.

We don’t have any “tricks” to speak of other than making sure you have a backup of your site in case something goes wrong. I’d also update WordPress first before updating any plugin.
Otherwise, you shouldn’t run into any issues as long as you have a backup of your site before you begin.

@adminlibreriaurano – it looks like we already answered your question in another support thread.
The theme you’re using has not been updated in over two years and is likely not compatible with modern versions of WordPress and Jetpack.
Additionally, Jetpack doesn’t load any custom version of jQuery – we only use the version that ships with WordPress itself so there’s nothing here that we can fix. Any theme or plugin in the WordPress.org directory should be doing the same.
You would need to audit your theme and other plugins to see which ones are adding the extra, outdated jQuery to your site. You can test by disabling plugins that are not in the WordPress.org plugin directory first as any plugin in the directory uses WordPress’s jQuery instead of setting their own.
Since this isn’t a problem with Jetpack, we’ll mark this resolved for now.
