In reply to: RSS Feed not workingHmmm… yes, it’s not a big problem but does indicate that there’s something not working correctly somewhere and I like to get the feed as it let’s me know that everything is ok. I have my hosting co looking at the problem as well.

In reply to: RSS Feed not workingYeah, it’s weird, I also ran the validator and it worked. It’s only to me that it’s not working. I’m running OSX 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion) but when it stopped I was on 10.7.5 (Lion) so it’s not an OSX thing. I’m not sure how to check this out…

I may have to make one for you as I tend not to use the <h> tag unless the line is very short, but I’ll look back through previous posts and try and find a published example.Bill
BTW, it also seems to effect the Tinymce editor’s points settings. A double line of 18pt text has pretty much the same leading as a line of 12pt text.

It’s highly unlikely that the DB was hacked, my hosting co won’t even let me install RSS feeds unless I supply them with the URLs, they’re really good at protecting sites.Bill

It says:
“In 2011, there were 2,387 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 2,728 posts.”
Not true: My site has 11,059 posts in total, so both new and totals are wrong.

In reply to: Visual editor not working in posts or pagesDitto on all this. One bug showing up is entering a blank line. In visual mode it doesn’t show up but it’s in the code. This bug is weird as it depends where you try to insert the new line.
There also seems to be a problem with live links in the visual mode. Mac osx 10.5.8 Firefox 3.6.19. Not tried it with Safari.

In reply to: Incoming links not working properlyOk, the problem was the configure option wasn’t appearing, at one point none of it showed up at all! But I fixed it by going into options and switching it off and on and it came back, so I could fix the url. It’s working ok now.

In reply to: Incoming links not working properlyHmm, mine has recently stopped showing incoming links. Instead, I get the msg: ‘No incoming links have been found.’ Clicking on the bar does nothing except close the window.

In reply to: P2 titles disappearingI’m having the same problem, no matter whether I edit on the page or via the back-end editing window, it drops the post title and grabs a bit of the first line. Infuriating!
In a related problem, when you click on Edit above the post, P2 can’t make up it’s mind where you should edit. Sometimes it takes you the back-end but mostly it doesn’t. Grrrh…
BTW, I always post to a category NOT status.

In reply to: How to bulk change category settings?I don’t have a ‘default uncategorized’ category. When I deleted the specific category, all the posts ended up in the default category ‘William Bowles’ (which can’t be deleted). So I went through the category and did bulk additions of the recreated category (by selectively searching the category).
Ok so far, but now I have nearly 200 posts in the cat ‘William Bowles’ that need to be removed from the cat but in the Bulk Additions option you can only add but not take away a category, otherwise I’d go into the specific category (Countercurrents) and a bulk change.
Unless that is, I don’t understand you
