In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] not backing up… please helpHi @vizcano, sorry for my late response.
I believe there are two separate errors going on here, so let’s cover one at a time.
For the database warning, what is yourMaximum script execution timeset to? You can see under BackWPup -> Settings -> Job. Ideally it should be 25 seconds or so.Please try that and let me know the result.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup ErrorHi @lab41, thanks for the information. Is there any significant difference between the sites that do work and the one that does not?
Do you have the correct permissions set on the temp folder, as well as the backup and logs folders?
Hi @prowo24, please go to BackWPup -> Settings -> Job and check the setting,
Maximum script execution time. Set it to something less than 30 seconds, usually about 25 is a good setting. Then see if the error persists.Hi @oliviaruthband, could you begin a new thread with your issue? It is probably not identical to the one in this thread, since this had to do with PHP 7.
To get you started though, I would try enabling WP_DEBUG and see if you get any errors reported in Server self connect.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] What selectHi @kyra1883, I’m glad it’s working for two of your sites. Is there any difference between the site that’s not working, and the ones that are?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup ErrorHi @lab41, do you have any additional information in the generated log file?
And, does your host allow for running background processes?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Setting Random Schedule@lab41, it is not currently a feature to have it run at a random hour and minute. But you can select any hour and minute you like, and you can select a different time for each site if you like.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Setting Random ScheduleHi @lab41, there is currently no feature to have it run randomly, but you can set advanced cron options if you select the advanced scheduling box.
What I would do is under month, select something like January, April, July, October. Under day, you can set each site to whatever day you want, spread throughout the month.
If I may say so, with BackWPup Pro, there’s the option of exporting a job, so you could easily import the same job into all 50 sites and just change the schedule that it runs.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] What selectHi @kyra1883, can you ask your host if background processes are permitted? SIGTERM means that a process is being killed off, and the plugin can’t do much about that. If they are permitted, please ask the maximum time that one may run.
Thanks for your response Simon. In just a couple of weeks we’ll be releasing 3.4.0, which will include support for Dropbox API V2. The updated version may help with the issue you were experiencing.
I understand. I believe the backup should still work fine despite the warning.
