In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup has stopped working!!!!Hi @andrea-baccolini, yes that is probably the best option. Or, you can disable wp-cron and create a cron job to call the script. Either way should work in your situation.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] What do I do with warnings? It looks like you simply need to reduce maximum script execution time. You can find that under BackWPup > Settings > Jobs, and I’d recommend setting it to 25 seconds or so.
@frillybob, no problem at all. The database backup should be inside the root folder once you unzip the archive.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Dropbox API ErrorHi @dialex, we’re finalizing it now and it’ll be out within a few days.
@all, the most common reason we’ve seen this happen is if there’s not enough space in Dropbox for the file. Is this the case for you?
@frillybob, yes, unless you have WHM access, which it doesn’t sound like.
Hi @frillybob, essentially your server time isn’t synced properly. It’s not the timezone, simply that your server time is out of sync. Show this to your host and ask them if they can resync the server clock.
Hi @gk134, did you also move hosts when you switched to https, or are you on the same host?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error with creating ZIP filesHi @markermaker, do you have enough disk space available in your hosting account? Sometimes if you run out of space while the backup is being generated, you get this error.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Wrong database export@bogdanteodoru, can you show me a sample create table statement for which the inserts would cause this to happen, pointing out exactly which column is problematic?
Hi @guilamu, do you have a value for the XML export file name, under the XML export tab of your job?
Hi @bethannon1, I’ll be honest, I have never seen that error.
Could you enable WP_DEBUG to allow errors to be shown, then try to run the cron manually from SSH, assuming you know how to do this? Let me know if any errors appear, either in the shell or in the log.
Hi @wonderful-wanderings, just two questions:
First, have your backups recently gotten larger?
Second, what is your setting Maximum script execution time, set to in BackWPup > Settings > Jobs?
Hi @bethannon1, the prefix is required to keep all archives unique and tracked for their particular job.
