In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed Disappointing vs. WP RocketThat’s my problem with this plugin. I know that it checks to make sure it’s on the proper server before it will activate. Once activated, do you not consider it to be a MAJOR flaw that the plugin fails to notify the user that the server’s cache is deactivated (if that’s what you’re saying)? So if that’s the case, you have a situation where the caching appears to work since performance is much better than the plugin being deactivated, but in fact is not working at all, from what you say, without producing any error or anomaly in back end operation.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed Disappointing vs. WP RocketWelp, in that case, your plugin is quite broken. If the plugin is showing activated, lets you change its options, and even benchmarks differently than no caching – and it’s not even active – you’ve got some bugs, to say the least.
We conducted 30 benchmarks, measuring WP Rocket vs. Litespeed Cache vs. no caching on 10 separate websites, in random order. In every single case, Litespeed was clearly much better than no caching, but had noticeably lower metrics across the board than WP Rocket. Had Litespeed not been caching the page, it would have shown much worse numbers.
So we know it was certainly active when it said it was.
Regarding the other bugs – there’s a lot. From the CSS breakage to the lazy loading script unnecessarily loading a blank gray image for logos in the header – it’s not at WP Rocket’s level with that stuff. Or the caching, it seems.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t some strange setting or oddity.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Subscribe Links Don’t Appear?#4 worked. Of course it’s always the one settings page you overlook. Thanks!

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Subscribe Links Don’t Appear?Yes, we run two podcasts (technically it shows 3 channels – we don’t use the default one and can’t remove it). The Custom Podcast Channels box is checked but not Category podcasting.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Not intuitive – BuggyIt’s a lot worse than I let on in the review. Player doesn’t show up. No way to remove default feed if done in error. It’s alarming how convoluted it is. It’s like they took all the bugs from the top 5 podcast plugins and implemented them all in this one.
EDIT: I figured out how to do multiple podcasts. Weird implementation, but so many other shortcomings. Even the basics, i.e. the player showing on the page, doesn’t work.

Note the issues I reported earlier + covert art is duplicated above the player for some reason. Also, FWIW the links below the player are not colorized, which is a standard thing to do.
I’ve checked the troubleshooting. Nothing applies there. We disabled caching before reporting the issue to you.
Ah, found it. Thanks.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Not Quite for “Any” Team SportsAre you a dev on this? If so, I can probably help you with the tweaks to make it work for pinball. I don’t think it’d be too hard.

In reply to: [Ninja Tables – Easy Data Table Builder] Possible to Set Fixed Column?OK – I already own the Pro version. Support can be VERY slow with your ticket system – I once waited 2.5 months for a response to a simple question. So I saw you responded faster on here and figured I’d try this.

In reply to: [WebP Express] Plugin Says Auto-JPG Detection is Both Working and Not WorkingOddly enough, I can’t. Despite all of these conversions taking place on the latest version (and I deleted the older converted files after the update), the plugin didn’t log any of the conversions on the website in question. There is no wp-content/webp-express/log/ folder at all.
I checked other sites we run and couldn’t find any instances where the WebP was larger than the JPG. Sorry I couldn’t be of much help here.
Absolutely.
Link is a bit of a mess. First it’s making me sign up for a forum. Then the forum link doesn’t work. Why do we need to go through another forum if I’m already talking to you now in a forum? If it was private support, I’d understand it.
Yes, worked with them for a while, and my host as well. Exhausted every avenue. Since the plugin works fine in every sending form except Postman, and Postman update caused this issue to start, there really isn’t anything they can do.
No, we get “Sending Error” in Mailster. Using WPCron never worked during this ordeal, but for a while we were able to do a manual Cron and copy the manual cron URL Mailster provides into a new browser window, leave the window open and it would work – slowly. But now that doesn’t work either. Mailster gives a bogus timeout error seconds after the process starts (server timeout is 90 sec). The only way Mailster works is using SMTP directly. This issue began after a Postman update about 6 months ago so I know it’s something Postman changed rather than something Mailster changed.
Confirmed, Postman SMTP breaks Mailster functionality and must be deactivated for Mailster to send mail. Huge bug.
