I enounter so many sites that the background and text are so close together in color/hue/etc. that it may be considered cool, but makes the site unreadable.
Can’t impart info, if the site is unreadable.

I don’t know if this would work and I would appreciate some feedback.
On my crestar site, link above, I could have categories/nations, towns and locales as sub-categories under each of those. Show thumbnails on those pages. Link to static pages with the large versions of the maps from there.
Seems to me it would work, but would it ?
